[extrabox]After the Dominion War and the destruction of Romulus the balance of power of the Alpha Quadrant dramatically shifted. [/extrabox] [extrabox]

[extrabox] The Cardassian Union and the Romulan Empire reach out their hands in peace, a peace that is in danger. [/extrabox] [extrabox]

[extrabox]The massacre that killed hundred millions of Cardassians during the Dominion War has lead to massive political changes at Cardassia Prime. The Detapa Counsil requested help from the Federation to rebuild the Cardassion cities and form a democratic government on Cardassias homeworld. Not all Cardassians believe that this is the way their people should take. [/extrabox] [extrabox]

[extrabox] High ranked members of the Obsidian Order started to operate in the shadows to form a new Dominion on Cardassia Prime. With the support of the Alpha-Jem'Hadars, which operate independent from the Founders, the Obsidian Order turned into a threat for the new peace between Cardassia Prime and the Federation.[/extrabox] [extrabox]

[extrabox]While the Federation takes care of the instable situation on Cardassia the Romulan Star Empire requested Starfleets help aswell. The destruction of Romulus by the Hobus Supernova in 2387, destabilized the Iota Pavonis Sector Block and the entire Romulan Empire. In 2392 the colony Roma Nova on Rator III became new Capital of the Romulan Empire. Being hit hard by the destruction of their homeworld the Romulan and Reman fugitives requested Starfleets help with the construction and protection of their new home. Eventhough empress Sela (daughter of Natasha Yar) governs the empire with iron fist and open disrespect towards the Starfleet, the Federation Council decided to help knowing that the alternatives might be worse.[/extrabox] [extrabox]

[extrabox] Selas influence was able to prevent that the Tal Shiar took power over the Romulan Empire... at least until now.[/extrabox] [extrabox]

[extrabox] Breen ships terrorize the Deferi Sector. [/extrabox]

[extrabox]Starfleet ships are forced to fight almost everywhere to maintain peace and order, but the resources are limited.[/extrabox] [extrabox]

[extrabox] The Federation Counsil at San Francisco officially confirmed the creation of a new fleet under the command of the SWAT Portal to deal with these threats. Five brave Starfleet Captains volunteered to face the enemies as part of the "Phoenix Legion XII" fleet.[/extrabox] [extrabox]
