In crossfire 1.9, there are the abandoned systems? What's in them, and how do I get there?

There are many abandoned systems in different parts of the galaxy... Which exact ones do you mean?

Well, in the storyline the main abandoned systems that appear are the Dom Kavash abandoned systems, which are also part of the campaign.
petarmih: If they are those which appear in the story after you killed few Ancients, well, to unlock your way to the abandoned systems you have to chat with a Dom Kavash, at a bar of one of their stations, and then buy the key (a white crystal item, at the Equipment Dealer) for the gate to that zone called Canis Sector. To arrive at it, you just have to go to the opposite way of the system you entered into DK space.
There aren't many DK stations, and there are special items on few other stations, so it's not hard but interesting to check stations arround to find the right one

A hint is more interesting, (challenging) and helpful than telling the exact locations so you(whoever asked) goes directly to the end and game over.
What is for sure is that both the abandoned systems and the exit from that zone (which is only one) are linked by trade lanes, so you don't have to worry to explore the void of the universe for it, just taking tradelanes will be enough.
