Not exactly tech prob, but i only see 1 compatible server.

    I managed to get Crossfire working, but all i see is one compatible server. (swat's server)


    All others are incompatible...
    I cant believe there's only one server...

    Yes it's normal, swat's server is the only one compatible with the mod, so all others are obsolete. Some people do see the entire list of servers, but still Swat is the only one they can enter.


    But you can always have more mods installed at once in your PC ^^ But you'll need to make sure of things before trying it... else you might start reinstalling everything again.

    Me and some friends do not like "in character RP".
    We search for a crossfire server who accepts us. We do not want to be forced into RP chat.


    If this server means that we can play normal (ofc when we are pirates, the good will be the enemy and vice versa)
    We like roleplay but not the in character version.


    We sometimes want to behave like we dont have anything better to do (within proportions, we arent abusive players)
    So we maybe once in a while we will shoot someone for no reason at all. And then when we lost our frustration, play normal again.


    We are adult people whith decent norms and values, but we sometimes want to unleash our inner child.


    Is this crossfire server a server for us to play on? Or do you think we'd be better off somwhere else?

    np for that. all +lv40 chars are included in RP but if pay tax or fine and respect clan system rules, no one will make you play hevy RP all day and no one will attack for no reason. Is allowed to be freelancers all time.

    There is for some reasons only one CF Server around. When connecting to the Server you agree the RP Rules: http://www.crossfire.swat-portal.de/?c=1&l=en In case of Pirate RP in short you and the Police are free to shoot each other. Also you may shoot when someone denies a taxing attempt. Ofc. other ppl are also playing their RP so you will be part of it too. Using your Guns on tragets you shouldn´t use on will end up in these former Targets using you as Targets in return (simple experience).


    At least CF is a huge Mod as mentioned by Husker. There will ever be a place to hide and/ or to pillage :D
