Crossfire 1.9 SP - Where do I find Orilion?

    Hallo comunity,


    I am very new to Crossfire and this forum but I played Freelancer several times.
    The Mod is incredible and after playing around with 1.82 for a short time I am very keen on 1.9 now.


    First I am very intressted in the new SP story-line but had problems on start.


    First missionn is to talk to Orilion in/on (?) New Berlin but I cant find him.


    Any advice would be great.

    Hiho, try in bar. After Nomad War he drinking too much.

    I am in the bar on planet New Berlin.
    But no Orilion is there.
    Anything I did wrong?


    I loaded the last Savegame from Freelancer original mit Mod 1.82.
    Played it through under the new mod 1.9.
    Then got the message to talk to Orilion in/on New Berlin.


    Did I missed some trigger or am I just blind?

    You can't use a 1.82 savegame on the 1.9 mod, normally it should work but there are several things which can make it not to work.


    You have to make the last 13th mission yourself before getting the next new mission, as in 1.82 there was no continuation of that script(so failing a trigger is nearly a sure thing).


    Actually, try starting clean again, you have enough experience to go pretty fast now ! And you can also use certain "cheat" to help you with money when it gets problematic.

    I tried several things now but Orilion does not apears in bar on New Berlin an I only have 1.82 savegames anymore.


    Playing Freelancer a 6-th time is not a good option for me because 5 times is enough and as I run my own bussiness the time for PC gaming became very rare.


    Does anyone have a savegame from original Freelancer near the last missions and is willing to share it with me?


    Or a savegame from New Berlin WITH Orilion?
    A simple ship and not much money would be enough.
    I fly a well equiped Eagle now but no problem with making money once again by trading. But please not the whole campain.

    The trading is the heavy, time consuming and boring part, the campaign was the worthy part to spend your time 8|
    But it's up to you, so hope somebody will give you a savegame (I have mine in Open SP, without campaign this time as I reinstalled CF).

    you are right. Trading IS boring.
    So I followed the advise and startet an new campaign.


    And with the great graphics of the mod it is fun once again.
    The only thing I definitley hate is the race. It always took me many desperate trials to win. I dont know why.


    Maybe after this I try the online flight.
    Any tips or advices how to start right if you are just a weekend warrior with less time like me?

    Hit Cruise in Race. Dexter always misses a gate in the first or second race.


    Money = pod farming ... OP removed lv. restrictions, you can buy any equipment, ship or gun now.
