  • Many questions, i will do my best to answer the test.

And did u guys ever ask ur slf where is the point in the docking sequence then? Humm, to wait your turn?

Where is the point in writing at some topic without thinking at all? I don’t know, I just do it :D

Where is the point in ur selfish observations? Was only trying to help

And what is the name for fast docking? Speed Dock? ?(
    Read: E X P L O I T! Sorry, can’t read. :(
Yes this is the proper name! Good to know, thank you!

@SOME of you, and in generally speaking when it comes about culture of dialog in RL and forum discussion (explanation for Abras: generally speaking is not to speak in the name of all) True, If you say "I", they will say stop talking about yourself (no win situation here) ?(

    1) Forget that i am like you guys, because i am not, this is not my issue and never was, i am not asking because i need an answer, i am not asking because i don't know how to fast dock! Well, why? ?(

    2) Many times i will ask or start the topic because i know that many of u have some issue not just me! I have no issues with it

    3) This is not 1.82 discussion, this 1.9 so how the fuck some of u can discuss about something which u never tried? No matter the docking remain the "same" as it was in 1.82.The things are NOT the same as they were in 1.82! When u try 1.9 hopefully u will be able to figure out relations between speed, mass, moving and docking! Where is ur basic culture gone?If u ever had one? What! That guy as 1.9? :cursing:

Some of u are so illiterate, so selfish, so non thinking, so "I'm thinking only about my ass and nothing but my ass" Guilty as charged.

Did u ever tried in ur life to think deeper than that what is "just" written? Never.

Literally i can feel the pain while reading ur comments Every cell of my body suffer right now... I have pills for that.

Next time read at least 2 times before jump in a discussion...and when u figure out that u have not enough facts given in starting post and that u have not to say anything which is based on the facts please stay out of discussion. I promesse, I will. :)

That way and for sure, moderators will not close threads due to flaming and off topic discussion!(ofc i have in mind that some of u do that exactly in that purpose!)^ ^ I didn’t. 8).

Thank you in advance Your welcome.

Do I win something? Crossfire 1.9?

  • most bases that train's can dock at suports speed-dock but not the base in enyo wich i find anoying becouse it make the ship dock at another spot.....but i can speed-dock with the train at bases like the BH-base in Shinkoku and Waterloo station wich is the same station type as the one in enyo....so it docks diferently at the bases in the crossfire systems......but i am not complaining (much) :P

Annyway if you are docking in enyo and if you are a good train pilot then you can make the docking in less than 30 sec if you are in the correct angle...

dunno about the actual seconds, but i agree - it's a matter of practice... with time, you learn to position the train properly yourself to avoid the retarded (and blind, and without radar or any gyroscope :D) autopilot. no biggie - only experience.

  • Train (Capship) docking is cool, also with the longer docking sequences (as long as there is no bug), but there is a difference how ppl think about the Game while playing it. Some are just event related (i know many :D). These Guys want to make money afap - best for them would be to just undock and dock again to earn money.

The others are playing the Game and want to see a most beautifull and realistic enviroment while playing, they do not need many ships or a complete fleet.

About reality: I am living in a city with a harbor in RL where big and small ships land. The bigger the ship is, the more time it needs to land.

If i compare this with a giant Train loaded with much cargo, guaranteeing a large profit because of the amount of goods it provides i see nothing wrong if such a Ship needs even much time to moor and if some skilled pilots are able to dock faster, well, they will then, because of their experience, earn some bucks faster than others. Mission accomplished, since they was working hard for their skills.

Over the years i am playing this Mod, it is becoming more and more realistic, nice and sophisticated were most of the new initiated featured was critizised in the beginning and also often personalised to the creator itself. After some time passed - ppl (especialy new players) didn´t even mentioned but applaused these changes. Also it is notable that if a feature is not well seen over a long time, it was redone.

My 2 cents regarding this topic is just one word - adapt.

  • you can speed-dock at bases where the train dock forward but it is impossible to do it if it dock backwards...

on bases with forward train docking just place the nose of the ship where the docking scene ends and press dock.....(PS: the train moor is not at the bar...so u have to auto-dock first to figure out where the spot is)

if you are at a station where it dock backwards then just place your train backwards at the place the docking-scene starts and press dock and the docking scene should insta-start so you dont have to fly a 180* wich takes forever and a half.

ilustration: ..... red car = Autopilot dock ......... white car = Manual dock

  • Hello. I had a problem mooring with a train on Detroit Munitions. I was invited to moor at moor 3 but the ship would just spin around the station no matter what I did. The station is a bit small but I was allowed to moor.

  • Yep, I had the same problem; you are authorised to dock but the train floats aimlessly around. I tried different approaches but nothing seemed to work. After half an hour of trying, I gave up. It seems that the container, attached to the station, will not allow the ship to dock.
