    i sux at pvp, not cuz i dont know how to fight but cuz the server dont let me fight
    the constand lag, even in 45 ping IT IS ABSURDE O.O
    the paradox is in the fact that i wona play and the game is open for conection, BUT wen the server lag the game is UNPLAYEBLE.
    and that is all you need in pvp 1/10 fraction of a secont game freeze, and i am already hit buy enemy rokets and mine are just now deploying



    in all the treds, and all the descusions abaut this eshue i ask
    is it all money, is that way the server lags like that ? cuz we dont pay monthly taxses ?
    do i need to buy beter grafic card for this game (wich btw is over 10 y old), do i need to give 100 buks to my internet deployer for beter conection ?
    wat can i do to make this shit stop ?

    First, graphic or network lag?
    If you get a yellow/red lag icon on the screen it's because you lag on the network. There is not much to do about it but since you got a ping of 45, lol, that's very, very good ! it would be interesting to give us your loss and fluct count also ("/ping" command displays these ping/loss/fluct). Other thing that could make you lag apart the ping is the bandwith. Do you know your download and upload rates ? Check on http://www.speedtest.net/ to test it ! If you upload close 0.75MB/sec it's good and if you download at 3MB/sec or more you should be well enough for MP gaming...


    If the above is good, then maybe your problem comes from graphic lag. This might be caused by your 10yrs old GPU. I suggest you lower the effects to minimum and try a fight. If you are not lagging then, you found your problem. Either get a better graphic card or do like i do and live with minimal graphics.

    my cpu is 3 y old, that is way i tell you it can not be from my pc
    some tims i get yelow AND red lags, and everyone start jump
    but moust of the time i got somp elce. it is like time freeze for 1/10 of a second, basicly ruen my every pvp


    minimal grafic is so retardet, i loose the sensetion of space flyght. wich is UNFORGIVEBLE for a space flyhgt symulator

    have you tried the speedtest ?
    network lag could be induced by too many ppl on the server too... CF stretches the FL server engine to no-end and it happens sometimes it fails to deliver when there is too much ppl to handle at the same time. i hardly doubt it's the server hardware that is in problem or it's Internet connection. also, if game freezes without the icon it reveals some graphic lag too (both can be combined). Without getting all to minimum, you might need to lower a few things, try to play with the graphics options in the menu.

    12 mb downloat from germany and nearly 1 mb up
    but having nice conection to germany (and this test server) dont neseserly mean i have good conection with the cf server reason cf server trancfer much more information
    i will aprishiete if some one can tell me wat are the best grafick options in the game wich will help performece
