  • Hello everyone...

I was just wondering what is the maximum detection range for hidden wrecks when using adv. subspace sensors.

I now what the stats say about the adv supspace sensors but it seems I can only find the wrecks that are directly on my flightpath. Im asking cuz Im trying to map all the wrecks in all sectors and trying to figure out the most efficient search pattern.

  • Hello Quarry,

It depends about conditions where is wreck located. In nebulae is scanner detection highly reduced (for sure you need be cca 5-6k away from wreck before you noticed it. In free space it is cca 10-12k. From my experience you can sometimes find wreck first at your nav-map because it shows on your radar only short time. And map all wrecks in CF 1.82? ... you can be sure that it will take you huge amount of time. GL with exploring!

  • Thanks,

Ive been using about 10km intervals in nebulas and 20 in open space....so I guess I just havent been looking from the right places yet. So far I have found BlueBlazeMK2, CerberusMK2 and few other MK2 weapons.... But Im relentless....I will keep looking...Im a bit of a collector and I wanna have all of them...lol

My name is John Crichton, an astronaut. A radiation wave hit and I got
shot through a wormhole. Now I'm lost in some distant part of the
universe on a ship, a living ship, full of strange alien life forms.
Help me. Listen, please. Is there anybody out there who can hear me? I'm
being hunted by an insane military commander. Doing everything I can.
I'm just looking for a way home.
