I Need help !!!

    Just wondering if anyone can shed some light on my problem. My CF installation just stopped working....cant figure out why. I have to date: Uninstalled and deleted everything. Updated windows. Updated graphics card drivers. Checked and doublechecked antivirus and Windows firewall to make sure they are not the culprits( blocking connection and so on )( Even tried with both deactivated , just to check ). Reinstalled FL. Re installed FL Mod manager 1.31. Re installed CF 1.81. Activated the mod.


    When I hit the launch icon the client opens like it should and downloads the nessecary updates. It goes all the way till the Multiplayer button becomes active. Hit that and it just does nothing...as in ....nothing. Man this is frustrating. I've been playing Cf for the past 2 months with no problems so it cant be system specs. I'm running XP Home Service pack 3 on a multi OS bootloader. All legal stuff and updated via Microsoft to the latest updates. The Os is pretty clean with very little other programs installed. I'm running this for CF specifically.


    I have saved my account id and all that , but I cant get far enough started to input the id......


    Any ideas?

    Corrupted install or some old fails remained,.. or both. Do a clean uninstall and then use a cleaner program such as CCleaner or Advanced System Care. Then install the game and the mod once again.
    (I had a similar problem before)

    CROSSFIRE 1.82 WAS RELEASED !!!!!


    you have to download the new version found on threads here on Swat (just use the searcher, with the words "CF 1.82 release")


    so, ofc it won't work with that bugged version (as the new one was mainly to fix every stuff ).
