I entered the Inner Core with anticipated excitement, and you know what I got? I ended with 38 kinds of gruesome death, with my butt scattered in every corners of hostile alien space!!!! But, I never stopped coming back because I wanted to get those "SAVAGE" savage gun (May God damn their souls) - a shield eating rapid fire gun. I may get bald over this because I decided to pluck 3 hairs every time my ship blows. I'm urging every expert gunners to please share your combat techniques ... before I lose all my HAIRS. PLEEEAAASSSEEE......

Do you have the best kind of equipment you could possibly get?
Other then that, I don't have much of an idea, Crossfire NPCs are a step up...

Tactics... try be you the one chasing them(staying behind them) and use your thrusters to evade together with engine kill and repentine changes

And thinking I have 30 or more of those savage weps in CFPD's stores... xD

OK, after sooo may attempts I manage to kill one of the 4 savages, but only because of the lucky shot of my torpedo. :wacko:
I think the problem why I can't beat this challenge is because I'm a missile user and my fighting strategy is very dependent on missiles.
The big problem is THERE IS NO WAY TO REPLENISH MY MISSILES IN INNER CORE. So, I was force to change my KUNG FU and rely on all guns-no-missile style. Is there any way to buy missiles in inner core?

Nope, just cheat the limit and buy 99.999.999 missiles think with those you have enough xD lol kididng, never saw or heard about that still the answer is Nope. Use THE FORCE !! (your mind, hands and guns )

Donomad...everyone of us has been where you are now and are still trying to find a way to kill one of those aliens.

It's part of my daily diet to hurry to Weth to savegame then into Ryssk to face humiliation and frustration.

I have learned a lot about their fighting tactics but that doesn't mean shit...I haven't killed even one yet.

Who cares about missiles, your only concern is shield bats and surviving. the closest I have ever gotten to a kill, the savage took off to recover while the others gang raped me with a full frontal assault.

Let me tell you that the odds are stacked against you as a SP, you're outnumbered 4 to 1, and totally out gunned.

Every once in a while I go to the inner core, but now my goal is to see how far I can go without getting killed.

P.S. The inner core hostile alien encounters is really a way to push SP's into MP. The truth hurts I know.

I just think they are cool, as the Ancients in Dervon, but some others are killing theese aliens you see as invincible like flyes...acumulating tons of Ancient cannons to sell them and make lvl 90(not my case) and killing ay alien in IC to gain full stores with all kind of weapons, especially 2 of them(my case).

Yea, you guys should try MP and come do some Inner Core Expeditions with us! You'll get to to dish out the pain instead of recieving it for once! (pitcher, not the catcher LOL) I know we SA have a fun time on IC expeditions, myself especially and we try to sponsor them and set them up every once in a while.
