As a new member I just want to say, "Thank-You". Thanks for making one of my favorite games better. Until recently I'd been playing the same original game over and over again; running into the same wall of boredom after my first million credits or so. Now, because of the efforts of a lot of talented people, it's almost like a brand new game to me. Sure, some things are harder, but without challenges the soul starts to wither and die. I am looking forward with great anticipation at whatever new challenges exist in the next unexplored system.

hey all
firstly i have to admit the game was a bit fo a shock to the system i nearly passed out and throw my pc out the window when my first pirate regend his shilds damn its tough at the bigining but worth it i realy realy realy recomend giving it a whirl i just picked up FL again and was rather pleased to find so many mods and this has to be my fave so far however when you get it working that is ......
i dont know if its been posted anywhere else but for those useing windows7 64bit there are a couple of thing you have to do to get it to runfirst makesure FL is a complete new install I.E uninstall FL then reinstal it
2nd make sure antivirus is turn off (depending what you use i had 3 trojans aparently acording to AVG)
3rd and most important make sure you instal FLMM as admin righclick the icon slect run as admin
4th repeat the process with crossfire mod
and it should run however i did find that although this worked when i disabled the mod after to change some of my settings it wouldnt restart and i had to go throw all the process againP.S good work on the mod guys luv it.....
