Anyway, GDI already had the option to use a Tiberium bomb/cannon in the storyline, and it was denied, that way saving the millions of lives of the people living on the same continent, and to keep GDI free of the need of any Tiberium usage, so now, the GDI does not depend on Tiberium, they just eliminate it from the planet as it's a virus. Also the Scrin only care for the Tiberium, and when there's none, they'll have nothing to do here.

X 1 2, 3 Terran Conflict and such, flashy games but weird controls.
Homeworld serie, a lovely massive space tactical combat game, the famous tall "Mothership" comes from this game.
Freespace (if you like the trailers of it, I don't remember it as being special as the ones above).
and several other space combat and scifi games worth playing, but not sure of their names atm O.o

I ban Mike, cus from this games that you write, i play : Assassin's Creed, Starlancer, Homeworld (well for this i'm not sure), Freespace (again i'm not sure) and X 3. But for me the best Space Game from this (without Assassin's Creed, because it's not space game) from this here is...no one. If here was Freelancer Vanilla or Crossfire, i was get to say them. The others space games have so stupid gameplay controls and i delete them only after 1 or 2 playng hours.
