I was there and I'm a SP. I did not see any rules being broken. Dieing was clearly to your disadvantage.
The no suicides rule's intention is to prevent the use of death to gain an unrealistic advantage on other players. And you didn't gain any advantage and you really were out gunned by the NPCs and by me dropping your shields (since pirates can do that now before calling a tax)
I see, as long as there is no unfair advantage gained by one side or the other. You missed a tax and I missed a bounty (and I would have had that Burro if you hadn't been there
