SWAT Toolbar

    just like the google toolbar I have created a SWAT toolbar about 1 year ago


    that bar contains dropdown menus with the important links... radio stations, RSS feeds worldwide (more than 200), some kind of newsticker and a SWAT RSS feed (covering the latest Forum topics and News).
    In the end a very cool idea.


    The only problem is ... its for IE only.
    Do you know a similar service which can be used for other browsers aswell?

    there are plenty of tools available. But several needs registered accounts... Dunno might try one of them?

    if you find a good one (one that is looking good with nice features) im willing to register an account and do the settings

    i have downloaded a trial of besttoolbars or so. I think it has a lot of features without having used it now very much. But the first impression was not bad. I installed the one I made very fast in IE. The FF toolbar could not be installed because there was something missing. But it is possible to create a FF toolbar as well.

    So you can try it.

    But do we really need a browser toolbar? I'm sure I'm not going to install it (nothing personal, just dislike extra toolbars in general). And if it only has a couple of links to it, then it's not really usable. For it to be usable, it'd need to have latest forum threads/posts, CF player counter and whatnot :P

    what about something similar to the TSP Site Toolbar but for Sigs?

    we dont need it but we could use it
    many people which visit SWAT use google toolbar or such stuff... if we can offer such a new toolbar service to our members then this for sure wont cause any damage


    and if you dont like it... then dont install it

    Sigs means Signatures.
    But everyone likes the new abbreviation so that's why it's sigs.

    hmmm i dont know about toolbars like that for other browsers however, firfox has the ability to create its own links. It sits right above the tabs you open. Simply copying a url and pasting it into this section will make a link with your selected icon and vuala, instant action. Almost like a favorates link but different.


    Also dunno if you guys know about it but if you want a good online radio, then eve-radio is the one to try out ;)
