although this is kind of dumb...but since i want to start on WC news...even though i've never played it 
... just to expand ya'll knowledge on WC and some other games. call it blog of games people have heard of but never really cared 
Wing commander(for those who dont know) is a space combat sim that started on several game consoles such as the SNES and the Sega Dreamcast. today it's ended up as a form of media that expanded into books, tv shows and even a movie. there are even mods and skins for Freelancer that are Wing Commander basedmore background info
one such game that is popular today is an XBLA title, "Wing Commander Arena" which i have played the demo, and is something i pick up every now and then
