Question about Single Player

    Ok so i'm new to CF and so far i've loved it. I played in the open SP mode for a while and it was fun, so i decided to try the regular SP mode. I started a new game, and so far it seems like it's exactly the same as the original Freelancer story (literally the same missions). The characters look different, and the new HUD is there, and there's a lot of new commodities, but so far the missions are from the original. Is this supposed to happen?

    Yes, the missions remains the same ,, there are no new missions, it's just a mod which makes the game awesome. ^^

    ah ok thanks. Also, is there a link to all the jumpholes and such? i'm really wanting to check out the new systems.

    I'd suggest for you to get a tool like DataStorm to find all the jumphole locations and other hidden things. Google it. (If you want to keep things fun, don't use the tool, it's too much of a spoiler)

    There is but to not spoil too much, go to the Hamburg system (whatever that name is) and search for the quantos system jumphole in the asteroids field nearby. It should lead to X-3043 and in turn all the new systems ^_^. Have fun :P.


    P.S. Wait till you see CF 1.8 >:D

    the storyline is being told via quests - not via the original singleplayer campaign

    Quantos isn't in Hamburg, it's in Frankfurt^^

    Thx, I will check for the X-3043 jumphole. I know a path to X-3043 via Tohoku, but that is not a good idea.

    I think you can play MP just the same way! I haven't played open SP but I think there aren't any differences.
    (Apart from the organized events, where you will get slaughtered.. :D )

    It is if you ask any DC officer online for permission, I caught you twice, if you enter for a 3rd time(I don't care if you're going to an event like yesterday or you're going to win the cup) then I will hunt you down(just ask any DC online for permission, that's all)^^
