hey can anyone help me:
i want to install crossfire on my laptop and i wanted to recover one of my ID's because i removed the program from my computer, is there any way i can retrieve it without having to reinstall the game on my computer?

Look at that piece of paper on which you once wrote that ID and which you certainly have put somewhere you still remember now.

Could be that there is still the entry inside the registry for freelancer - it could be - otherwise you are welcome to start from the beginning^^

If you never wrote your mpid down
I have lost mpid a few times.
Now I have found that I only get 2 diff mpids when I reinstall.
So It may work if you reinstall again or again. -

You could try one of the account manager bits of software such as Freelancer Account Manager (FAM). Install this and it should (though I have not tried this) find your MPID and load it in to its DB. From there you can either manually extract the MPID or export it as a file to use with FAM, if you install it on your laptop.

the mpid is not saved server side...
vista is a problem for some ppl. but there r players using it to play fl...
