-there is no real "CF" story, as told in the opening cinematic's OP has been so awesome in making
-head behind manhattan and there is a Jumpgate that leads to Custodian, head around the minefield, and there is a gate that leads to X-3403. take that gate and you will find about 15+ gates that lead to many places. find the one that suits your taste

IF 'sp' means single player , he wont be able to meet you ingame portal
maybe there is something wrong with your installation.
did you follow the >>> guide <<< ? ¿ ?
you may try to uninstall everything of this game, and give it a second try (if you didnt do that already)
but after all, i dont play single player.. just multi .. it makes more fun
