The size: when OP says it's 720 by 480, my best guess is that 720x480 is what he wants

if the scene is blue, color the ships at least a bit blue-ish
actually, the error message is incorrect ("you need to connect to the internet first") - i might be connected to internet, but server might be down etc etc.
