distant nomad gates?

    when passing through some systems for the first time in sp looking for jump holes. Some of the very distant stars appear to be surrounded by the triangular nomad gates. Are these artifacts or real. I tried to travel towards some but after 30 mins or more I was no nearer and off the map.

    i have to say i agree with sev wonders pond seems to have them. when heading down the trade lane to texas top of screen. not got a screenie though. i'll get one next time i am on

    well... i got owned the same way, wasted like 30 minutes of my life . they are not real, just background in some systems i.e. Wanderers Pond ;/
