visited some wrecks arond altair system. retrieved some weapons noyably cataclysm and havoc nissiles. tried to mount them & bought missiles. when i launched the missile wewre not recognised and couldnt use them?

Correct me if i don´t understand u right.
You need Ammo for the Missiles if you want to use them. Problem is that this Ammo isn´t for sale in Altair ^^. And - you missed the Top Missile

yep like Kermit said -- you need ammo for missiles (duh :D)

These are 2 different missiles: the Havoc, which ammo is only sold in Sirius, and the Havok, which ammo is sold in Altair. They are not interchangeable, both need their own launcher & ammo...

sev98 this Mod has many secrets (thats why some of us are still here) - look to CA for example, here since 11/2005 and still exploring all the day in Multiplayer ;), it must be funny to explore it. And btw. are you playing Single or Multiplayer?

Russian standard was to be able to use parts from every weapongroup in others, for example parts of a tank matched the Mig. Very effective btw. or why do you thing they still have moving tanks
The Nato standard was far away from it - unfortunal - and i realy have to know that
