  • If I start the game in regular storyline sp, will I have access to the ships and goodies added by CF from vanilla systems/bases?

Have the systems from the vanilla game been altered, as in there are new hiddedn ships/wrecks in the vanilla systems?

Is CF designed to be played after finishing the storyline?

    Thanks

  • I will have a go at these

    1. Freelancer mod does not change the vanilla systems - so new ships will be available in new locations - although some of the new equipment will be avilable in vanilla systems

    2. You will have access to some of the new ships - but as with vanilla - some of the them are level dependent

    3. If I remember corerctly I was able to fly some of the new ships after the Hovis race mission -

    4. I dont think the locations of wrecks in vanilla systems were changed - CF adds to - but does not amend the existing vanilla systems

I don't know of anyone who cared enough to play beyond lvl 38 after the SP game; by this time, you have been able to explore all Sirius. But you can definitely continue, upgrading ships, visiting new systems, getting blown away by the DK because you have no live wingman... :P

  • it's always better to get online and play multiplayer. especially on CF, coz it is full of nice and friendly people, especially the pirates :D
