Crahsing to Desktop

    Hi there seems to be a serious problem at mo with people crashing to Desktop during PvP.


    You can hear sound find but cant see the game just desktop then you get an error message popping up sayin FL has to close or you have to force close it.


    Its happened to quite a few people today is there a new update out this weekend that could have caused this?

    Last time this was happening to me frequently, it was time for aonther re-install... [2]

    My rig: i3-4130 Core Duo (3.4Ghz), Gigabit GA-B85-HD3 mobo, 8Gb PC1600ram, Samsung 2x 80Gb SATA RAID, Intel Integrated graphics, 3 optical drives, 23" Asus HD monitor + peripherals

    if it was just happening to me id agree but most people are getting thsi problem not just me which means its a more universal issue than a local PC problem.

    Same here. Its like the sol crash, always before an explosion.
    Lowering the effect level seems to prevent the crash, like BlackHawk suggested in Explosions thread .

    Does anyone ever read what is in those Mod Error subforum?
    Anyway was having the same problem untill I turned down the details to minimum and started to turn on everything step by step. For me everything on maximum and effects on 50% work

    yes we know about turning effects down and anyway ive been running effects up at 100% for nearly 3 years and only up till today have i had this problem ...... i turned down effects to practically 0 and was still crashing...... Its now 23:05 BST and i have effects running at 100% again so far in the last 40 mins no crash.....so i now find it even stranger as no one else has crashed since either 8o?(

    Maybe it really is me in some way :D
    At least Im the first who had this kind of problem and it only happens when im near (if its right what doom and you said)


    Anyway we will find out if its me for sure. Time will tell us.

    It is possible that it could be you....might be worth reinstalling FL maybe its corrupt in some way.

    I don't crash so maybe the problem is in the hooked new effects (I have em deleted, not disabled)?

    Confirmed, crashes happen to others around when I kill NPCs or players.
    Looks like this started with the graphic update, but it might have also been the installation of another game (Guild Wars).
    I tried reinstalling the everything already, which means either my account is somehow corrupted (which i will try to find out) or its something with my computer.
    Help appreciated (again)
