In the intro, it looks pretty hardcore, but I didn't see any of it in the game. Maybe it's because I can't get out of the Sirius sector... Where's the extended storyline in crossfire? Is there one? How do I get out of the Sirius sector to the Altair, or Earth sectors? I love exploring. I found all the jh's and visited all the bases in the original FL, so I have no problem exploring. It gets pretty frustrating if I'm not discovering anything new.

Seach this forum for Crossfire storyline..
The way to Altair is through Sol (Earth's system).. but I warn you now.. Sol is huge, and finding the way wont be easy. Not to mention the danger of the dreaded Dom Kavash..
Im guessing you havent explored all of New London in CF? Bretonia is a good place to start to find the new systems you seek..

If the LOD Ranges of the "thing" (I won't put the name here to don't make it look like a spolier) were bigger, it would cause server lag? Coz I think that the current LOD range is too small, then it's somewhat hard to find it...

It's better that way -- now you actually have to solve the quest to find the *thing*. If the LOD was all the way 'till the *nearest-dockable-planet* it would suck. There wouldn't be any point for quest-ing, searching, exploring etc. Besides IMO LOD is high enough cos u can see the *thing* about 100k or so away.
