that....dosent help at all....
post some code or something when you get the chance.
also just to clairify, what i want is for it to look like battleship missursi where the engine is not started up. (although it would not just be for battleships, it would work for and ship thats playable)
thanks for the.....help...

i just answered ur question
you didnt ask for details... just if it is possible or notin order to make it work with FLhook you only need to have a look at the cloak feature of flhook to see that such kinds of effects are possible

ok, but do you have any code hints or sometthing, im a beginner with hook.

im not that good with such coding
and im way too busy to start looking into it -

@sona: i don't want to rush in here, but if u want to change FLHook features, u will need to know how to write software with C++ programming language. for a start, there is the FLHook Coder Forum to look at. the source code to start with and making ur changes can be downloaded here. i myself have not checked if such an engine effect can be "suppressed". it might depend on that event being able to be captured...

As posted in another topic, if you just want to make the engine effect vanish when you brake your ship, you can move the nozzle hardpoint more inside the ship, but this can also produce more odd effectswhen cruising/flying at full speed.
This is an easier option than messing with codes, I guess.

well, you dont seem to understand that i do not want it to dissappear when at 0% throttle but rather when the player uses engine kill. (Z, normally) oh well i guess...
