Reminder of RULES

    I am posting this thread to remind everyone to pay attention and READ the Server Rules displayed by the hologram in front of Planet Manhattan.


    I received several reports that players have admitted to are in fact DOWNLOADING other materials while playing the game.


    I remind you that this causes issues for you in game and it does have effects for others.


    I will remind everyone once to cease this and to police yourselves in game, so CF remains a nice place to be for all members.


    However, if people are asked to stop and they do not, I will take other actions to "capture" your attention^^ I am not in the business of having to ban anyone, but I am sure your credits will be used wisely by our Event Staff if you continue.


    1st offense = Warning


    2nd offence = Fine


    3rd offense = Fine (but much larger)


    4th offense = Will be determined

    For me, I use an ipod when I listen to music while playing the game.

    This gives me an idea for a future project for CF mod, maybe one day we could have a "Ship radio mod", like in GTA series that you can select the music of your car from a selected folder¡¡ That would be a hit for CF¡¡ Hehe...

    Doesn't it depend on your connection speed though? I mean.... I have 8MB, and I can use Napster whilst playing and have no trouble. I don't lag at all, nor does anyone else. Besides, a Napster track only takes about 3 seconds to download.

    .wav and .mp3 are just file containers
    .wav can contain the same compressed music like mp3
    in fact the .wavs of FL are compressed
