An aggressive trade war in Alliance space appears to have been won by supporters of Mahon.
The recent withdrawal of Sirius Corporation from Allied military infrastructure created a significant opportunity for member state companies. The shipment of cargo to key locations has been used as a barometer of success between two trade blocs, formed around Edmund Mahon and Nakato Kaine respectively.
After two weeks, the trade bloc favouring Mahon has been declared the winner by analysts and pundits. Irfan Karim of the Alliance Tribune noted that the Mahon trade bloc is 'likely to secure the biggest and most lucrative contracts over the coming weeks.'
Participants in the trade war can now collect their rewards:
Supporters of Edmund Mahon's trade bloc can find their rewards at Bowersox Port in Winiama.
Supporters of Nakato Kaine's trade bloc can find their rewards at Fuca Dock in Apura.

Observers across the core systems are reporting an increase in antagonistic activity between Power supporters, with skirmishes flaring in multiple regions.
In the aftermath of the Thargoid war, political attention has turned inward as human factions seek to reassert dominance across the bubble. Recent clashes, including the conflict between Vice President Jerome Archer and Admiral Denton Patreus, followed by competing mining operations in LP 855-34 between Felicia Winters and Yuri Grom, have prompted concerns from analysts monitoring political dynamics.
A source within the Pilots Federation stated: "What we're seeing is a shift in posture. Powers that once acted defensively to protect influence are now aggressively expanding, testing the limits of rival claims."
Military analysts believe that while current flashpoints remain contained to power struggles between individual leaders, the pattern

The Alliance Assembly has voted to end the strategic defence pact between the Alliance and Sirius Corporation.
The pact, agreed in January 3308, was a response to growing Thargoid hostility in the months prior to the alien invasion of the core systems. At the time, the Alliance Defence Force was seen as lacking adequate Anti-Xeno modules and defences. Sirius Corporation spent billions on refitting ADF vessels over the past three years, but has been accused of leveraging its position to secure profitable contracts in unrelated fields.
The motion to end the pact was raised by Councilor Nakato Kaine, seconded by Councilor Ainsley Niven of Reorte, and was approved by a slim majority. In her opening argument Kaine had called the pact an 'opportunistic ploy for military influence in Alliance space, with eyes on a monopoly over small corporations founded in Alliance member systems.'

Tensions between Yuri Grom and Felicia Winters have erupted into open conflict around the mining system of LP 855-34. The system's platinum rush, triggered by local construction demands, has drawn forces from both Powers. Yuri Grom's representative accused Federal factions of "cornering the market" unfairly, urging loyal supporters to counteract the Federation's aggressive tactics. Combat Zones have appeared throughout the region as pilots clash over strategic mining sites. Pilots supporting Yuri Grom are encouraged to report to The Undeniable station in LP 855-34 to assist in industrial mining operations and help push back the Federal forces.

Independent pilots have helped eradicate large numbers of pirates in the Dhan system.
Following an unusually high increase in piracy across the system's many planetary rings, local security fleets and skilled freelancers worked to eliminate pirates and show criminals that it would be better for them to relocate.
"Pirates are too foolish to give up a life on the wrong side of the law," said Dhan Empire League head of security Harald Gomes. "It's all they know, and all they're good for. But while we can't stamp out crime forever, we can at least send the message that Dhan isn't an easy target. Attack our mining craft at your peril, ya lugheads!"
Gutamaya, thought to have deployed observers to monitor use of its recently released Corsair craft during the conflict, is said to have been 'very impressed' by its craft's performance and the anti-piracy response force in general.

Faulcon DeLacy has confirmed that its Cobra Mk V has entered full production, with deliveries commencing to shipyards across the core systems.
Previously offered via limited release, the Cobra Mk V is the latest evolution of the iconic Cobra line, long favoured by pilots seeking versatility in a compact frame. With improved handling, modularity, and a focus on enhanced compatibility with SCO enabled frame shift drives, the Mk V builds on the reputation of its predecessors with an eye toward modern multipurpose performance.
Faulcon DeLacy's Chief Financial Officer, Taron Raines, offered the following remarks:
"This vessel represents a perfect balance of capability and affordability. The engineering team has created something truly special that honours the legacy of one of the most popular ship designs in history."
"With a nimble profile and excellent performance relative to its size and cost,

    *Pilots' Federation Alert*
The governing faction of the Dhan system has called for support in fending off a spike in local piracy.
Harald Gomes, head of security for the Dhan Empire League, spoke to local reporters:
"It's becoming obvious that pirates are growing bolder in recent weeks. We've received alarming frequent reports of attacks and looting throughout our system's many planetary rings – icy rings in particular. Our security forces are overwhelmed, and the Imperial navy is occupied in other areas. So, we're asking for help."
While piracy hotspots are not unusual, the situation in Dhan has drawn interest due to rumours that Gutamaya analysts have arrived in the system to track the performance of any newly released Corsair vessels used in the fighting.
Dhan Empire League has offered extra rewards to independent combat pilots willing to eliminate criminals and collect bounties in Dhan,

Imperial socialites were treated to a tour of Gutamaya's newest ship, the Imperial Corsair, at an extravagant launch on Capitol in Achenar.
Gutamaya's event was attended by over a thousand prominent engineers, senators, press members and other notable individuals. Princess Aisling Duval and her cousin, Lucretia Roche-Duval, were the guests of honour.
Positive reviews of the Imperial Corsair's public unveiling have been published in several outlets across the Empire already.
"The Corsair's specifications showed a promising mix of straight-line speed and large cargo capacity, making it ideal for traders who value efficient travel times," said Eugine Varrik of the Imperial Herald. "The sleek design employs Gutamaya's famous curves – attendees were queueing up with their blinks to take the perfect selfie."
"What impressed me was the flexibility of the Corsair's internal components," said Miyu

An unusual and turbulent situation has arisen for residents of the station Lantern Light in the Lalande 25224 system. The architect, CMDR Lavelain, commissioned the station nearby a neutron star. However, the station was inadvertently deployed deep within the star's gravitational well. As a result, the station's movement and rotational speeds far exceed safe limits – time should be taken for caution when attempting docking.
Brewer Corporation has received numerous requests for support from the station's residents and is mobilising to correct the station's violent and turbulent movement. The operation is currently undergoing careful planning to ensure the orbit is not destabilized further into catastrophe, and is expected to take several weeks to accomplish.
