We have become aware of a number of mod incompatibilities causing a crash on startup with release 2.09.4. As a result, we have pushed a hotfix that will disable mods by default.

Mods are not officially supported and we cannot guarantee they will not cause instability or damage saves. However, if your mods have been updated and are compatible with the new release, they can be re-enabled by following the steps listed here:

• PC players should be aware that 2.13 changes the metadata format for some alien and mission dialogue. As a result, mods that change this data may crash the game. Therefore, the DisableMods.txt is restored by default while players verify their mods.

The map was developed by John "Captain Johnny" Guentzel. He was a designer on Prophecy and Secret Ops who was also, as you can tell, a huge cool nerd. In 1997, Origin put a beta version on the WCP site for fans to comment on… and of course I saved it!
