…The Federal Intelligence Agency has launched an investigation into the Far God cult. Several members of the sect have been arrested for interrogation.
Senior Agent Micah Whitefield of the FIA released this statement:
"Given the organisation's proclaimed interest in the Thargoids, it is vital that we confirm they are not in contact with Thargoid forces, or being influenced by them. The FIA is working with local security agencies across many systems to ascertain the truth."
The Rewired news service has broadcast footage of armed Federal troops forcing their way into the cult's hive-chapels and dragging cult members into armoured vehicles. There was no sign of resistance from the Far God adherents.
Other video feeds show groups of citizens trying to shield the Far God worshippers, while rival groups can be seen cheering on the soldiers.

…Wing Commander composer
George Oldzieyhas another update on the progress of his
album campaign. He's still diligently working on sending out the discs that backers ordered, but the timetable has been slower than he'd have liked. He has had some exciting distractions, however! In addition to moving from Austin to LA, he's had a couple of major professional jobs to attend to with great results. The full update is below:
Greetings all! I just wanted to apologize for the slowness of delivery on this phase 1 of Volume 2 campaign. I did complete recording the bar music and delivery of digital files and score pdfs. But I still owe some of you physical CDs as well as MIDI mockups of the (hopefully) soon to be recorded orchestral music (pending success of a subsequent phase). This has been a year of huge transition for me and my wife Suzi. I've been spending most of my time in LA trying to kickstart

…Letter from the Chairman
Hello Citizens
I hope you are all enjoying Star Citizen Alpha 3.2.1. We’re having a great time checking out the community streams, videos, and screenshots that you’re creating. Events like the Spanish Community getting together for a 50-person Quantum Jump to Daymar and a huge coordinated mixed-arms battle give us all an exciting glimpse at the possibilities of the universe that we’re building.
CitizenCon and Star Citizen Alpha 3.3
We were very happy with the format of last year’s CitizenCon and felt it was the most successful CitizenCon yet – the community could spend a solid amount of time with the developers and had the opportunity to learn about the game in a way impossible from a single presentation. This year we are doubling down on this approach to make it even more like a convention, and we have some pretty cool things in store for you that we’ll be sharing in

Meanwhile, former rear admiral Riri McAllister has been shot. She is currently undergoing medical treatment. The incident took place at the Alliance Chamber of Justice on Turner's World in the Alioth system. McAllister was on trial for organising acts of terrorism as Nexus, founder of the League of Reparation.

…Electronic Arts is expanding its Origin Access service. It first launched in 2016 to provide players with the chance to play unlimited amounts of certain EA catalogue games as well as a discount on digital purchases. Now a new Premier tier also gives people access to EA's brand new games. It also gives subscribers the ability to start new titles five days before the official release date.
The new higher end level will cost $14.99 per month or $99 for a whole year up front. The original Origin Access plan is staying at the same $4.99 per month or $29.99 for the year. Wing Commanders 1 through 4 and Privateer are included with either option. The company also offers a similar setup on Xbox One called EA Access with comparable features to the Basic Origin Access, but WC is not available there. The new Premiere details have many similarities to Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass, which has surged in

The Wing Commander movie featured some of the earliest instances of what would later be dubbed "bullet time" in feature films after it was popularized by 'The Matrix'. Several sequences were shot for the film's jump travel sequences, but not all of them made it into the final film. This clip includes some of that extra footage from an early edit of the movie spliced into where it would have appeared originally. The footage was likely trimmed for pacing, but it's still pretty cool!

…Campaigner Jarl Toredo has resigned from Unchain, the anti-slavery organisation he founded with Princess Aisling Duval.
Unchain's press office released this statement:
"We can confirm that Jarl Toredo has officially resigned from his position as co-chief executive officer, effective immediately. Princess Duval remains our patron and CEO. We wish Mr Toredo all the best with his future endeavours."
Reema Falco, a journalist writing for The Imperial Herald, made these observations:
"Considering Toredo's passionate rhetoric against Imperial slavery, it's surprising for him to abandon an organisation that he co-founded. The recent assassination attempt against Princess Duval at an Unchain fundraiser may have caused him to regret allying with such a volatile political figure."
"As yet, there is no comment from Her Imperial Highness. This has led to speculation that there was a falling-out between

Christian Kleincontinues to make impressive progress as he builds out a surprisingly complete collection of Wing Commander games
localized for Spain. Privateer's expansion, Righteous Fire, is his latest acquisition, and it looks great! The RF box is really cool with its heavily stylized main title font and tantalizing screenshots on the rear. Even in English, there just aren't all that many Righteous Fire boxes still out there in circulation, and many people acquired the game in a compilation on CD and never got the standalone package. If you don't have your own, check this one out closely!

Q&A: RSI Apollo
Following the launch of the Apollo from Roberts Space Industries, we took your community-voted questions to our designers to give you more information on the recently unveiled medical ship.
If you haven’t watched our recent Ship Shape on the Apollo, you can do so here. Then, on Reverse the Verse, Corentin Billemont, John Crewe, and Paul Jones answered questions about the Apollo live on Twitch.
Special thanks to John Crewe for providing the latest interior plan as linked below.
Will there be any interactive ‘doctor’ gameplay to healing in med bays and first aid, or will it be automatic based on the tier of healing?
The design for doctor/medical gameplay is not fully signed off, but it currently has interactive elements to it. One of the things that we always want to do with Star Citizen is to make player interactions physical rather than just pressing a button and
