Ajay's Story 2.0: declassified data

WARNING: SPOILERS

Author's Note: The previous chapter had a classified fragment. I planned to write it down when people will start finding the ███████ ██████ system as well as what is beyond. If you do not want to spoil the fun, turn back. if you don't mind spoiling the fun or are that desperate to know what did I find, you may continue, and do not forget that I have warned you.

Ajay's Story 2.0.
Data declassified by Coalition Intelligence Directorate order # ИЕФ131114_009.

While working (thankfully, with his permission) on editing my subordinate's stories, I mostly leave all his writings untouched. The only exception from this are classified data, the only reason I have to do it. Fragment that is following was one of such classified data. The original author did not mind me erasing it from the story release, but asked me to release this fragment once information has been declassified.
For now, such a moment has come.
Coalition Intelligence Directorate General Major
Igor Evgenyevich Flyagin.

-So, whatever am I looking for? - I asked, guiding my ship into Sol Asteroid Belt.
-Something. - Flyagin replied over the comlink. - It's located somewhere close to Mars. We do not even know what it is, nor do we know whether it's dangerous or not.
-Flak.
-You can always say "flak this" and return to your original quest, but don't you want to explore?
-Flak yeah I do - I replied. - But last thing I want is to find out some things man was not meant to know.
-Ajay, don't worry, some memetic hazards are nothing for you. If you were able to quit watching po...
-Canteen, I'm serious - I replied. - The space is endless. How much did we know about the Dom'Kavash before that ceasefire? Nothing. How much did we know about the Nomads during the Alliance war? Nothing. How much did we know about Ancients before I had a chance to get in Sirius? Nothing. How much did the rest of the Coalition know about the Great Doms before the attack on Gorshkov? Nothing. What if we find yet another threat, far greater than all the others?
Silence reigned for some time.
-And the feat you've mentioned would've been impossible without getting hooked by 40k afterwards - I finished.
-Whatever. Keep the constant connection.
-Yes, comrade - I said and returned to the observing the space.
Some time passed, and...
-I see something! It appears to be a jumphole! - I said, noticing the familiar flashing.
-Dock with it - my commander said. - Remember: if the odds are too great, retreat.
I obeyed and soon arrived into another system.
-Arrived into unknown star system. Single star. A gas giant. Two moons orbiting it - I started to report. - Currently in the unknown asteroid field.
-Fly around the system. Report anything unusual.
-Already on it... - I said. - The star is surrounded by an asteroid belt... - and after some time passed, I noticed something. - Some flashing around... Appears to be an object of the size of a small planetoid, covered by a defensive shield...
I put two and two together. And got four in the shape of a Nomad City.
-Nomads.

And, like I couldn't guess it, a wing of Nomad fighters appeared on my scanners.
For some reason, I was partly relieved seeing "just Nomads". From the other side, these purple transparent bastards just flakking HAVE to be everywhere I go.
-Nomads?
-A Nomad City is here - I replied. - I am continuing on my way.
Soon after that message...
-I am detecting a jumphole - I said.
-Dock with it - Flyagin ordered. I followed the order and jumped.
-Asteroid field, seems like planetary fragments - I started to report. - One of these fragments is larger. And... BLOODY FLAK!
-What's there, Ajay?
-The... solar object - don't know whatever the flak it is, far away from the system, but still seen. It's larger than Murmansk, by orders of magnitude!
Most of people around know what it means.
-It seems unstable, and possibly it has spawned this field. One of these planetary fragments is bigger and it's close. I am flying there.
-Roger that. If you find anything hostile, run away.
-Like I didn't hear that already...

Time passed along with a couple of Nomad Fighter wings. But then...
-What the flak? I'm detecting something in that planetary fragment!
-Aliens? - Flyagin asked.
-Negative. A human ship, or looks like one. It's large.
-Fly closer - my commander ordered. - Human ship? Here?
-It looks like a battleship, but no weapons... Stop. - I said once I was able to recognize the ship. - It's a sleepership. And it seems intact.
-Get closer to it, then gather all information you can.
-Roger - I said, looking around.
Soon I was near the object, and, as I'd predicted, it was a sleepership.

-Sleepership theory confirmed... - I said. - Any clue what the flak a human sleepership is doing in this nomad-infested hellhole? As far as I know sleeperships don't do scout missions. So do you have any idea?
-Negative, Ajay. What can you say about it?
-No visible damage. That means that it is either ready to take off, or has been carefully landed here. Too carefully, considering these Nomads all around. I have a feeling that the Order has created it, but I have no proof. - I've started an analysis of the data that streamed through my sensors. - Doesn't look like Coalition one either. I also have a feeling that it may be connected to Great Doms slowly getting the upper hand in the conflict. The Order will have plenty of time deciding where to run when Great Doms start munching on us. But, again, it's a wild guess and speculations, I have no proof in all these theories.
-We will return once more for new info. For now, fly back. You did well, but the Hypergate in New Hongkong awaits you. I am assured by the lead scientists of the project that it has been activated and targeted at the Inner Core system. It is fully operational.
-Glad to hear - I said. - And now Coalition will be able to send help to the Dom'Kavash?
-Yes. Attack on CNS Gorshkov has only proved my position, and the last skeptics in the Advisory have changed their opinions. We have gotten more and more supporters in the Coalition Government.
-That’s good. So, what do we do with the sleepership?
-It’s up to me to decide. Before I give a permission, the whole affair should be classified.
-Roger that – I said, continuing my way back.
As I reached Sol, I headed to the Mars->Earth warp buoy to continue my way.
Wonder, how many such places are in the galaxy that I've never knew they were there before? How many more riddles are still hidden?
For some reason I think that I'd rather prefer them to stay that way.
