It gets expensive with that upgrade - just about 1500 € ?

There are some negative reviews on lack off power (230W PSU) and some other things.
I am a little puzzled by the tech specs -> Dual channel memory (old tech.) and a i7 processor (very new tech.) wich supports quad channel memory.

The Aurora looks much better, but is also much more expensive. small computers gets HOT.

Why not build your own with a fancy case ? or even a graphical workstation (thats what you do - right ).

I Think the detour was in hyperion before, so nothing to worry about. Don't know whether this is an error or not.

No problems with sata connections as dIstance is 10 cm. My Casing is a Corsair Obsidian 800D as the MOBO is Extended ATX. That Case is BIG.

Maybe Direct3d problems. I had that problem with Vmware wks 7 and prior. Wks 8 works. Are you usling a ESX server ?
Try to test with dxdiag

Maybe a poor ISP connection.
Can you make a speed test to determine that. Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test and choose a german server (in the bottom map) ?

You could try the TCPOptimizer from SpeedGuide.net :: TCP Optimizer / Downloads
Remember to keep registry backups for rollbacks.

You do have Anti-virus installed - right ?

Your video card consumes your memory because of the shared memory (must video cards does this). Use the dxdiag utility to determine the use of dedicated vs. shared memory (save as a txt file and look in the Display Devices section).
To determine the real memory use, you can run the procexp.exe utility - if you have a virus this program shows odd named programs.

Next I would examine the disk for errors - chkdsk c: /F or similar

How much memory does your computer have ?
I Searched the internet for that error and it could be a memory error. My Freelancer Crossfire uses about 271 MB ram

On my Ipad2 I have:
Build in: Mail, calendar and contacts from iCloud, Gmail, Hotmail and Exchange.
Evernote, Dropbox, Teamviewer and Citrix (have to find out how to right-click - maybe bluetooth mouse, don't know)
iBooks, NASA Viz and News Apps.
Besides that I have all my music and some video (converted dvds with handbrake)

I messed up my FL:CF configuration (it was in the red-green mode) and I have no idea how it happend. I have fixed it by reinstalling the software in advanced mode - i removed all my settings.

SO comparing CF 1.9 with 1.82 graphics in 3D is pointless. This is awesome now - you have to try this. Someone did a major work on the graphics

FYI:
- You should probably use the shift+F12 function (i think it turns off advanced shader, but I don't know).
- Use the Nvidia shortcut keys to make your changes ingame
- allways have a look at your cockpit (ctrl+v)

Towbot: You are right about MP. Got a lot off help from other players there - I just asked for help and I got it instantly. My ingame characters are Mortens... and tx2-6... fyi.
@GrandAndreasK: That computer is fast and I don't want to benchmark with that one (I saw one of your video's). Now you just need a 3D monitor

Did I click the wrong button or has anyone really tried this ? ?

It is not fair that only members who can read and understand German can DONATE - imo.

@PAYPAL I just registraded a creditcard (my own) for payments. It is safe place to do that, i hope.
