    No, it says the same thing. If you use the icon in the sys tray and subscribe for Win 10 update/upgrade, it will be free for you to use forever. Win 10 is the last Windows OS. Something different after that. They didn't say what though. If you don't get the update/upgrade during the first year (allowing a year due to time it will take to have it avail to all that want it during that time) it will cost you 150 USD. Case in point, I didn't get the Icon in the sys tray until two days after you guys had it.

    First off, Michael, good luck with your finals! Do well!


    Second, I had the toolbar working just fine until just a little bit ago. Walked away for a few and when I came back it was gone! This is the second time in the last month and a half that has happened.


    @ NucNuc - what link did you use to get yours? Maybe I need to try something different.

  • Server issues

    Op is aware of the issue. They are trying to work out a solution but first have to determine what is causing it. After all, it is :beta: ! It'll get resolved!

  • crossfire crashing

    I hope you will have far better success than I did. I sent files to AVG support group after they told be forward them and and the errors msg's I was getting. never heard a word from them after that. Of course I have anything to do with FL/CF in the exclusion area so that I don't have any further issues. I also noticed a couple weeks ago that Windows did an update and I started to have a minor problem with it wanting to know if FL could have access to the internet. once it was told to make it a rule that stopped. I thought it odd that MS was stopping one of their own programs. :(

  • Single Player Hovis Race

    There is a hint given just after the start of the race by one of the betters on the Hood. He says "keep your eye on the next gate". This is the key. Once you are set up
    for the gate you are about to pass through shift your focus to the next gate and keep it there until you are set up for it, then shift again to the following gate and so on. Once you get that down, you will notice
    you will be in a flow that will let you over take Hovis when he over shoots about mid way and you can pass him. You will know this has happened when he tells his guys to give you something to think about.
    don't think about it, ignore the missiles and stay focused on the gates. Do not look for Hovis' overshoot, that will take your focus off the gates, you will see it in your poriferal vision but don't shift focus to
    it, you lose if you do. As for ships, I have run and won the race in the Black Eagle, the Bastard, a freighter ( Bullpup MK III), and a couple of new ships that are new in 2.0 mod that shouldn't stand a chance but did anyway.
    Mostly depends on the pilot skills and like all things human, can be improved upon. When starting the race make sure you are in free flight and do not use f2 for the cruise engines, use shift+W instead. HTH, feel free to

  • Help with shaders please

    Simply put, they are different levels of detail for the textures of the stations, ships and other structures, and the clarity with which open space, the various nebula's,and planets appear. Your #1 being (for me anyway) about the same as the vanilla textures and Your #7 being the best and the one that I and most of us use as long as your graphics card can handle it.

  • Update every time before starting SP

    There are update files that are run every day on both SP and MP. This mod is still in Beta, so as bugs are fixed, continuing portions of the mod that haven't been released yet or as in the case yesterday, a new ship release there are going to be updates. Let them run, game will start when they are done. Enjoy!
