Got a problem with my brand new Armored Transport.
On docking at a battleship (Rio Grande, Colorado) today, I got stuck during the "cut scene".
In a proper position I got clearance from the battleship, docking was initiated and the ... see below
armoured stuck 01.jpg
Could not move, could not do anything. Only help was exit game (Alt F4).
After restart, ofc looked after the EXE2 folder in the directory and deleted it and restarted the launcher, I found myself in this

position. Managed to get out of there during docking of a npc. Tried to dock again with the same result. Is the Armored Transport not able to dock on battleships at all ?
I've seen npc-Armored Transports to do so.

.... but the escaped virus of FL spreaded wider, than the experimentalist had in mind
and - obviously - mutated into something much moreVIRULENT

Than perhaps something like "smugglers hunt" or "assault" but only on system scale:
2 Teams: each team has to "deliver" an unarmed BS, Transport or the like to the event manager
1st leg:
every team has to reach the station, where the ship is sold und one member has to buy, then fly it
Who will be first ?
Could give fights on the way to the station, around the station (prob maybe: observing dockrape rule)2nd leg:
every team has to escort its "trophy" to the event manager or any specified location
Who will be first ?
Could give fights on the "convois". "Trophy"-ship destroyed => BAD LUCK
Go back and get another one
Winner's the team that "delivers" or that still HAS a "Trophy"-ship after a givin time

I think, Soul.Eater means kind of a cargo,
that is indestructable and can be looted from another player => if killed this loot is set free to be tractored by other players
(Hope I got you right on that, soul.)Landsleute

Like the idea

Sound a bit like this afghanian "pre-polo!-game, where the players had to capture the carcass of a shep
and hold it for a time, while still being chased by the other players.

Now I'm a bit confused
How can this be:
NPCs acting only according to reputation list,
( I assume you refer to flying in open space, shockwave)
equipment/ship(?)sellers acting according to licence
(I assume you refer to stations in the X-systems and ownd by outcasts, corsairs and the bunch alike, gunny)What's right ?

Now look at this : searching for answers I stumbled apon my own, old thread. ....still a noobnoob

Since I don't know, if there's STILL no anti-gravedigging policy here, I dare to revive it, to have all (or most) of my questions in a neat package, I can refer to, if I've forgotten something.
I don't believe in death, I RESPAWN ! as this thread nowQuestion is about the role play licences: Do they affect NPC-behavior ?
i.e.:
If sporting a Pirate license, will NPC-police chase you ?
If sporting a Police license, will all the "unlawfulls" (Corsairs, Outcasts; Gaians, etc.) chase you ?Despite the friendly/unfriendly reputation on your status list ( F8-button) ?
Atm I wear mearcenary licneses on my chars, since they seem to be the most "neutral" one, best suiting
for freelancing/exploring/making money without harassing other players, or being haressed in doing so.
(Also due to the momentary lack of a sufficient number of pirates on the server.)
...and I couldn't make up my mind yet.An answer to this question would help me a lot in doing so.

@ Lancer Dude
What you've have done, would have been my 3rd idea.
Anothes - or MY 2nd - would have been : let Juni wait already before the Ashcroft-mission, on level 3.
When you're called, land on Manhatten and LIFT OF again. If you go through the gate near Rochester
(which should still work - at least before the last mayor update, haven't tried it yet).
you can also explore most of the rest of the CF-universe. But at some point, there won't be any missions
offered anymore on the stations "blackboards" ( make money by "rescuing" lifepods
).But you might have to "start" again.
It's kinda "OSP" with campaign just resting.

Stll another possibility: go online and play as a "Freelancer" and "abuse it" as a kind of OSP. .....
with buddies showing you the ropes, best places etc.
Maybe harder but "funnier" than stand alone.

Perhaps this can help you:
After you've ended the original story line you should have enough money for a "true" VHF.
When you start for the continuing story, first fly to Pittsburgh to get the Werewolf.
If you're able to fight through to Rheinland territory, there's a "NICE" one on the way to meet orillion.Just dock at the stations you come across.
When continuing the story you can dock ( and SAVE ) everywhere (highly recommended).Still in Rheinland on the second leg of this mission you should dock "everywhere", also at not so "official" bases.
There you can get almost everyhting a fighter pilot will LOVE to have mounted.
It continues in this manner, so there IS time to "beef" up DURING the continuing story.Just trust a dedicated single player

THX for your answer, Marauder and that you took the time to read and react.
As we all here know, RL is hard behind you atm. Therefore I apologize, if you might feel offended.
Definitly not what I am after ! Esp. regarding you !And even at your state of affairs, you took the time, since NO OTHER Pirate clan member has shown up (yet).
-
Hey Cryzis, don't take any offense from anybody
they just envy you !
You have done a fantastic job there, and I'm sure it will help a LOT OF PEOPLE, esp including me

@ Michael:
These vids and any vid comming can and will only be a first step, a hint, an idea givin' to those who might
otherwise be too afraid and look for advice other than killed dozen's of times before they pick it up. ....
and might be driven away by then.In the end: PRACTICE can be the only true teacher and will ever be.
But THIS HERE will give some good and easy to catch "guidelines" for the experience of forthcomming, unnumbered DEATH
( I don't believe in death ! I RESPAWN
)Furthermore: I would vote for STICKIING this thread.

THX A LOT FOLKS
These are the kind of tutorials PERFECTLY fitting a dumbass on MP like me
I've tested Whiskyrunners_Inc. method so far and it works GREAT !
But as Michael stated and IMPORTANT TO KNOW, it doesn't show you the account ID as you have to type it i.e. after a complete new installation.
(perhaps working with FL ID Changer in addition you might be able to obtain it for "hard copy".)I will try the FL ID Changer later on also, to see which method I might goto prefer.

THX Huor,
but the site got only a small feature list and a dl-link,
unfortunatly no "readme".Perhaps there will be a "help" included. Will have to try it.
edit:
Have just installed the Freelancer Account Manager 1.0F.
After installation there IS a readme in the installation folder (C:\Programms\.....etc.)Now I have to get the balls to - also - TEST IT.
