The second link for the account manager I've seen already,
but as it is an .exe I#m a bit afraid on using it without a "readme" or other "manual".

A (for me) fearfull first month of proving this as a community worth of further CROSSFIRE life has passed..... happily prolonged by a further month, due to donations, ...

I've got the impression of a positive picking up: lots of new players (at least chars), numbers of players online increasing, perhaps slowly and only on "high times": evening and weekend.
interesting: I got a feeling af a temporal coincidence with this Chris Roberts hype and CF-presence at the RSI website. .................................................................................................perhaps only a feeling

It seems that the atm most (only ?)"active" clans (mainly CFPD, IOC and SA) also got some promising new recruits.
The CLANS are, that can/do/will give the RP the full and real life .... on the server

But there is one group of RP, that seems to be totally absent on the server. .... Clan-wise.

And yet another noob question by the reluctant, notoriously dedicated SP-player, who has been drawn so DEEEP into MP and servergaming,
that I even haven't completed new story line
but I will do so after that last fix, ... at some point, ... sometimes in furure, ..., when I know, how to forget about all of you great folks here, that DREW ME IN SO DEEP

As we (me) know, you can create only 5 chars on your account. But some players sport MUCH more chars. I wondered how.

By searching (use "search", I did), I got to the point, that it has something to do with runninmg several "account IDs",
this 36 digit long number, you have to type after a reinstallation, to get to your "old" chars on the server
(the one you SHOULD WRITE DOWN for exactly this reason and that people often like to forget, asking OP to - somehow, magically - resurrect them).

I also found, that a tool "FL ID Changer" has something to do with it.
But atm I'm too afraid to use and play around with it, fearing to spoil everything.

So I ask for an explanation a BLOODREDDED NOOB like me can understand , follow and USE it.

1. How do I create several account IDs ?
preferably - if possible - without several de- and reinstall-procedures

2. How do I switch between the chars of different account IDs WHILE on the server and ingame ?
preferably - if possible - without crashing the server or getting kicked for cheating

If there IS already such an explanation, tutorial, guide on this, I wasn't able to find,
I would be happy to be directed there.

Don't just stay with at the junkers base. At the beginning of SP the "interesting structure" nearby is FUNCTIONAL.

USE IT !

It will "open up" your possibilities at this stage of the game. Later you won't be able to get on this route. since other "structures won't worke until you're trough with all.

Got a question on a fighter.
In the attached pic are some fighters to see, that seem to be modelled after the alliance fighters to be seen
in the Freelancer intro trailer.

I wasn't able by now to find them anywhere to buy in CF.

Do I have to search more or might they be available only later ... after release of CF 2.0 ?

They quite fast forgot to flame against others than to flame theis OWN mod.

Very interesting way of praising their own, favored mod.

Suprisingly they stayed away from "conquering" your thread, Cygna.
That way the "Crossfire" thread reads - imho - .....interseting for others, informative and shows some better way of
interacting with fellow community members.

What better "advertising" could be there ?
