    One thing I encountered already in CF 1.7 and again here,
    the stations population in the crossfire systems are a bit ...well "mixed up".
    I.e.:
    Ghats Prison - when you dock: a liberty police station but populated with junkers and rogues.... no rumors, no jobs
    I.e.:
    Empire station - Bretonia police station, populated by junkers who tell you they work for the liberty police.


    It makes flight- and docking-planning a bit difficult, when you want to go to a DSE base, but the police docking ring won't let you land [SIZE=1]( due to some "minor troubles" one had earlier on )[/SIZE] .


    Any changes on this possible/planned ?

    After also starting with a try on the server, and after the procedure of deinstallind-reinstalling-deistalling-.......


    I now found out what niggeled me all the time on singleplay:


    There are even LESS NPCs around than in the pure, original Freelancer game !8o


    Would it be possible to change that without interfering with the MP-part ?
    ( If so OF COURSE only by you OP ! I will not touch it, PROMISE ! )



    Also something I -personally- find a bit annoying on the server is the piloting of the NPCs there.
    The NPCs in SP are already a nuissance (as they are supposed to be:D ) with their drunkard flying-style but what they perform on the server is just ridicoulusly "unhuman". They move like a "chance-generator" [SIZE=1](please excuse my bad vocabulary here, I hope you get whate I mean)[/SIZE] on a fairly bad mixture of dope and speed.


    - stop'n'go from naught to fullspeed in notime as if they are on the Kurfürstendamm in Berlin on rushhour


    - strafing left-right-up-down rocky-rucky like the framerate when playing X3Reunion on an old 1st-generation sempron pc


    They are still well beatable, since they stick to a more defensive (running away) tactic, but...well... it just looks crazy,
    getting me more occupied with laughing at them than actually shooting.

    THAT WOULD BE GREAT !! It would give some time to explore a bit and "work" on your reputation for several NPCfactions - especially after you got acsess to a prison [SIZE=1](happy bounty hunting)[/SIZE] [11] . AND that when you go there you finde the gate open, the trade lines working and new city scape on California minor ( other possibility: that i.e. GAIA finally gets opened to public with a completly new planet with bar, trader etc. ).


    OP, you have said, that you think about linking the CF-quests in a REAL campaign. Then perhaps with kinda "evolution" from the end of the original campaign as mentioned above ? It would make it more sensible, that there are the new jumpgates, which then should only pop up, AFTER someone finished the original campaign and reached the according level[SIZE=1](of money)[/SIZE].




    I once found a constant.ini in a mod that allowed up to [SIZE=3]1800[/SIZE] missiles. But what's the point of having enough ammo for a machine gun, when you can fire only every 2 or 4 secs ? I think it's also an issue of balancing and multiplay.


    But what about having a 50rounds-capacity for EVERY missilelauncher someone has ? So, when you loadout your ship with 2 catapultlaunchers you can load 100 catapultmissiles, but when you loadout with 1 catapult and one eraser, you can hve only 50 catapults and 50 erasers. Also you can only BUY 100 catapult when youn OWN 2 catapultlaunchers.
    ( Idea for CF 1.9 ? )

    I'm on normal single player and have finished the Sprague-mission. Of course I've seen the GMG-Hypergate and made my way trough to the Inner core.


    I managed to find the gates to now 5 systems, Ryssk the one I'm in atm.


    [SIZE=3]But[/SIZE] unfortunatly all the Sentinel-, Warrior-, Dom'Setek-, Dom'-...etc.-staions are [SIZE=3]NOT[/SIZE] dockable.8o 8o X( X(
    It's a bit annoying when you keep on exploring and there is no place to rest and SAVE inbetween.


    So, how can I get these stations dockable ( if they are intended to be dockable at some point, maybe a reputation-thing ? ) or is there any[SIZE=3]where[/SIZE] a station a poor little human can dock ?
