Not yet anyway Michael. Got two more short stories to incorporate, so we'll see how it goes.

Alright guys, getting close to finishing this thing up after a few weeks of working on it on and off...
Check it out and tell me what you think so far. Again, any and all input/feedback/suggestions are welcomed.
Once I get the short story's canon completely added, I may go back and add when bases and mayyybe planets are established for the Crossfire systems. This will NOT include Altair/Coaltion systems and events however, besides, this is the "Unoffical History of Sirius(for the Crossfire 1.81 mod)" anyway, Altair is not the focus! Maybe someone can do a Altair one from the Coalition perspective in the future, a "Unofficial History of Altair".

@Arkane, well, Imay give more info about the in-game knowledge of history.Excellent, thanks a bunch Michael! :] This will help fill in any "holes" as best as possible, although I'm sure there will be some errors before it's all said and done.
To everyone who's interested in this, one of the reasons I'm doing this is that it reminds me of another favorite game of mine I've played for years, Mechwarrior and it's related massive history and universe, the Battletech universe, which is in some ways, simular to Starlancer/Freelancer/Crossfire's universe and span on for about the same amount of time ironically. I've always loved the deep, rich history and timeline of the Battletech universe and I wanted Starlancer/Freelancer/Crossfire to have the same thing, since it's getting so deep and rich with a history and lore of it's own. Any of you who knows Battletech as well as I do, knows how many freaking source-books it has for it's various factions, organizations and so forth, let alone all the novels about it's history and lore. It's only fitting the Crossfire universe's history and lore should be written down and preserved for all to read.

Yeah, those short stories... seems Drakon changed a bit the history that OP put in-game, still in 1.7 itself.
In-game, X3043 itself was discovered, together with a great battle, as X system was ocuppyed by nomads, there was a war to free it, and the main planet was destroyed,(there comes all the big rocks floating arround with a gravicore in middle... from the old planet), and the Crossfire planet is in fact the old's planet's moon.PS: The stories were based on the FL and CF story, so, not the exact story. It's up to you to make the real history list, or the mixed one with the stories
Ohhhh great... So it wasn't OP after all who came up with them...
Well again, I have to go with the latest information we have so far, i.e. 1.81, so as far as I'm concerned, the short stories are our "main" source of Crossfire "canon". I'm probably going to have to mix a few older details, if you can provide them that are not mentioned in the short stories to "fill in the holes" so to speak, like planet Crossfire being the actual moon of the NOMAD planet that was destroyed.
Again, don't think I'm getting annoyed with you or anything Michael, I appreciate all your feedback and input on this, I want to get this "Crossfire history and timeline" as accurate as I possibly can. I imagine there will be MANY revisions to this post from now until we're all happy with it.

umm, I was just editing that post a bit
the news in the Earth's bar told about what happened with that system, at least in 1.7.PS: Your added edited link shows just the story of the alternative video, the exact words of that video... with some added at the end to fix it with Sovet.
Well, here's the crux of this problem with the ENTIRE history log of Crossfire, I must concentrate on what is relevant with THIS, i.e. 1.81's release. I cannot dictate when exactly certain things happen exactly as there is too much conflicting data or in some cases, basically zero data of any time frame of them, if we are to go by the actual history log of Crossfire you provided me. Therefore, I will follow the canon, from what OP has provided to provide a basis of "history" for the majority of Crossfire events as it's the most solid source of information I have and the most up to date.

D0h! Well, if not 5 years between the end of the First Nomad War and the second, then when? The Sirius houses will need quite a bit of time to recoup, repopulate, re-arm and develop technology before the next Nomad War IMHO, 5 years seemed like a good time frame.

Yep, Arkane is right, Sol was ripped out by the DKs... but just the humans on them and now Earth is repopulated... but not by coalition again. The Aliance guys(that fleed to Sirius) found Eath empty !Cus the DKs misteriously went away.
PS: After reading the edited version... I must say nope. In the Crossfire version, Sol got empty thx to the DKs, not their pets, the Nomads.
You also have to edit your second post, who will read it, will think that all that history wasn't made by you, but took from Discovery
Whaaaa? I though OP's short stories wrote that the Nomads wiped out Earth's population? It makes far more sense IMHO since the Nomads would find mankind first, do what they believe thier masters would have them do, wipe out mankind, being they are the DK's lackeys.
Methinks you should read OP's story regarding this again, besides it's my basis for the Crossfire timeline anyway, I ain't just pullin' all this out my rear orifice.

I've updated the timeline to include the Starlancer history and some Crossfire events and dates. I've given theoretical dates based off of Starlancer's initial date, 2160A.D. and a roughly 125 year journey of the sleeper ships to the Sirius sector.
This puts us all roughly in the 31st century, years before the turn of the 32nd century.

Thanks Michael! I appreciate your help man, I'll take a look at it and formulate a time line for all the "Crossfire" events.

Alright... Well, since no one wants to help contribute to the "history of Sirius/Crossfire", I guess once again I will take matters into my own hands.

That is unfortunate Crookey... My understanding from others experience and my own experiences with the Deva Station ruins in Lost Paradise is that once you raid the station and get your guns for that character, you cannot get another pair, even after a server reboot. I've tried to raid the same wrecks on a different character but have yet to earn any success in aquiring another pair... Of course that could just be me or the fact someone keeps raiding the wreck before I can earn another pair of DK Annihlators.
This is the same for other wrecks as well mind you, so choose wisely when you raid a wreck, you won't get another chance with those items. Make sure you are able to mount your gear immediately or soon or you are able to stay in one piece to get your prize to a safe location or another account to "store" it or sell it.

Next time I'm on the server and I see alot of crashing going on I'll do the same Bond, good thinking man. [thumb] I think all who are aware of the issue need to relay this information to every n00b on the server when a string of server crashes like this happens.

BUT BE WARNED:
All of these ships are quite sluggish compared to the other vhf, especially the starlancer-alliance fighters ( shroud & Co.).They can stand well against npcs eventually also server npcs. But I doubt any chance against a shroud or raptor in pvp on the server.
Yea, add the Demios to that list, aka the "super" VHF version of the Anubis. Even with a weight reducer, it still handles like a pregnant yak mind you... I second the comments about the Starlancer ships, they'll eat it for lunch too I'm sure.

Thanks Admiral. :] Don't get me wrong guys, I don't mind some light-hearted satire and all,
I'm always up for a good joke... But seriously, I'd appreciate some serious discussion and feedback on the unoffical history of Sirius or more to the point, of Crossfire's history and storyline. I know you guys have some wild imaginations already, so give me what you got guys and let's try to keep on topic, thanks!
P.S. Sam, I guess you can add clan historian to my resume, along with clan cartographer, deep space scout and xeno-biology researcher.

However, I did come across THIS, it might work for those who want a more accurate/precision printout and just don't like PDF format.
If you do use that DWG view program, make sure you put all the images in the .zip file in the same directory as the .DWG file so it can find them upon loading. You'll most likely need to install the .TTF font into your C:\Windows\Fonts directory for the text to show up right as well, do it before you load the drawing.

Damn.
Sorry to hear of this KhohnJao, hope you can come back soon. There's too many of you oldbies leaving it seems these days... To me there are no goodbyes, only "Good journey" dewd.

It's ok now, try without IDM.I'm using FlashGet and had same problems, also i think that we need autocad to use these files.Yea, I would forgo the download managers with these downloads... As far as AutoCAD is concerned, you'll only need it for the AutoCAD files zip. :] I hope older versions are easy to come by for some, best results for printouts are from AutoCAD 2004 or higher, these files are in AutoCAD release 14 file format I believe, so they are backwards compatible pretty far back.
For those who do have access to AutoCAD, to print out the different versions of the maps with and without the starfields, you'll have to enter the LAYER command and turn on or off the "STAR-FIELDS" layer (the light bulb icon) to switch between the two. Then just hit the control key + P to bring up the print dialogue box. Print 1:1 scale, use the line outside of the border as your print window extents and make sure it's in color(do a preview) and then hit the PLOT button.
Enjoy!

Errrr ahhh... Hellraiser... Just for shits and giggles, have you even landed on Earth in the Sol system yet? You'll most likely hear two certain individuals chatting it up in the bar when you get there... Therefore I think that kinda dispels any rumors of thier "death" by mysterious diseases.
As far as King is concerned, well he's just fubared I guess. [694]
Yes, as far as the Crossfire story goes into discovering X-3043 and so forth after the story line, I'd rather leave that ultimately up to OP's review and discretion about exactly when and what happened.

Oh and to those wondering, no, I didn't come up with this. It's from an old Excel spreadsheet document I got off of the old Lancer's Reactor site years ago. I've been searching for it here recently and finally found it on my work machine. I've copy and pasted it here for posterity and for revising/updating with Crossfire's history and timeline.
