im not really sure about this but i heard that if someone comes on with a low speed
connection that the speed of the server slows a little to help lower to that persons level
and it causes lag.
I dunno if thats what really happens but i heard something like
that.

F1'ers to regain shield strength and those that log off to another character to prevent to
fight. and if OP was to remove that too then we'd be stuck when we had to sign off....we'd
have to dock at a base to log off, and theres no bases in Altiar or Death Valley.

not really, you cant define a
technology as 'better' than another....also the Coalition launched their three sleeper
ships a few months after the Alliance launched theirs, one to Sirius to track us down and
two to populate Altiar. So acually the only advantage that the Coalition has in technology
then the Alliance is the Dark Reign Ion Cannon.

meh...so much for that idea.....I'm trying to make a "Find the mole while [insert what
the mission is] and he is giving out the plans" event. So far i havent really made the
outline but i know that there will be two moles, one on both side....both giving information
to the enemy side as to what they are doing and going.

the server is up, you are prolly using the wrong
version.
go to downloads and the right
download should be there. As for the openSP link theres a topic in the Crossfire Mod
forum.
