Earlier, several prison ships were spotted around Sirius and Altair. Fleet Admiral Martind Forlorn of the Silver Arrows was the one of the first of the Police Alliance organizations (even though they are a known Mercenary para-military group) to publicly announce a galactic need for Prison Ships as many stationary prisons are overcrowded. Fleet Admiral Forlorn has granted an Exclusive Interview with myself.

Kent Rolphana- Question 1: Approximately how long ago was the prison ship at Sidewinder Station, Alaska System spotted?
Fleet Admiral Forlorn: There was today more as one prison ship and more as one time.
Kent: What led you to believe the other houses in the sector, as well as Altair, needed more prison ships as There was no formal statement made
by any official of these governments?
Forlorn: Some things were not done publicly. Silver Arrows was asked for
help. We have no further comments at this time
Kent: Do you foresee a huge spike in crime in the coming weeks?
Forlorn: Criminal activity is rising from day to day, not only pirating but
smuggling too. It's hard to predict if this commissioning process speed will grow
exponentially, but yes, there is good chance crime will increase further.
Kent: By the statistics provided by an inter-house database, hosted by Focks Industries, the numbers show that the only prisons in the sector and Altair that are currently overpopulated are Hunstville in Liberty and Vierlande in Rheinland, last updated 8 hours ago. Huntsville transfers the overflow to Sugarland and Vierlande just expedites sentences to make room for more inmates, same with Sugarland. Wouldn't building more prison complexes in both space and on terrestrial surfaces be more secure?
Forlorn: Build new prison parts or repair old need time, and governments can't send criminals on vacation during that time ... they are also unwilling to give out details about this.
Kent:Lets say the Houses got their request fulfilled, and obtained more prison ships. What makes them any more or less secure than a traditional
prison facility?
Forlorn:This will not happen, maintaining such ships are extremely costly... this is reason why they are in special cases
asking for help from police and other independent organizations.
Kent: In my mind, the pirate factions could stage an assault on these ships to free their comrades, then scuttle the ship, thus making it more
costly to build more ships, hire and compensate the crews than to just,build more stationary facilities?
Forlorn: Prison ships are mobile, heavily armed and armored. Plus it can use smaller fighters as mobile escort. In-fact prisoners on board have a MUCH lower chance to escape or be freed by their comrades when compared with known stationary prison complexes.

Well, i guess that can count as a conspiracy...but considering a criminal history would show up on those Outcasts or be associated with Outcast criminals, it wouldn't pan out well. BAF has a pretty advanced background check system. The best in Sirius actually..

make it like Battlefield-style Conquest. where you have to attack and defend the system at the same time. maybe just two systems in this case (Tarsus and Vega perhaps)

Fighting would happen in X, and the two systems. for the duration of the event, it's possible for pirates to control a cop-owned system...oh the irony.

so lets say if 5 pirates reach the final trade lane destination in Tarsus, the system is considered to be in control of the pirates and the cops have to leave to X and re-consolidate their forces. vice versa for Vega. it would require a large turn-out for it to work like that.

If it's a small crowd (>10 people) than it can be single system attack and defend where if the attacking force reaches the final station/trade lane/whatever the attackers win. if the attacks can't get there in 'x' amount of time, then the defenders win.

Xeno Attacks have continued to prove unrelenting in Bretonian space. The most recent attack on The Cardiff Mining Facility has impacted severely on the Bretonian economy now that they can no longer export the resources the facility refines. The alloy's which Cardiff exports is one of Bretonia's largest cash crops next to food from Planet Cambridge. SNN Analysts project Bretonia will not be able to sustain their economy for much longer and the collapse is surely imminent. Deputy Prime Minister Dave Robinson is delegating with Reinland Ambassadors in order to work on a bailout for their economy as well as military support to combat the Xeno threat. SNN will keep you up to date on these developments.

With the continued disappearance of Prime Minister Leeroy Yankenfer, who was kidnapped by Xeno Terrorists 3 months ago, Bretonian Parliament is proceeding with the necessary steps to name Deputy Prime Minister Dave Robinson as the new political leader of Bretonia. Robinson had this to say

May i remind my listeners that i am NOT affliaited with Focks Industries. Why they named their flagship after me, i don't know. but i'll find out

So, i went snoopin around the Neural net and found some interesting stories about a certain big business owner. I wonder what'll happen if i share them..

Cantana Focks, Founder and CEO of Focks Industries has a pretty interesting past. About 8 years ago, Mr. Focks joined the Crossfire Police Department recruited by an officer of the name Ozymandius. Soon after, Cantana became the Storage Officer for CFPD and later an ASF Fleet Commander (Capital Ship Division). About 5 years ago, he left the Department to pursue other goals in infantry work for an mysterious organization. A year and a half later, Focks returned to space and re-enlisted to Crossfire Police Department. During this time. Cantana Focks earned a reputation for questionable behavior. He once pulled over the pirate Knightshade for suspected FUI, thats Flying Under the Influence. When he proved that he was sober, Focks smashed (by smashed i mean shot at) the tail light of Knightshade's Cayman and arrested him for neglectful flying, speeding in a residential area and unnescessary sarcasm. Another time, while commanding the Mississippi Queen, Focks ordered an Orbital bombardment of Planet Crossfire in the X-3403 System. While the planet sustained moderate infrastructure damage and thankfully minimal casulties, Cantana was *not* reprimanded by his superiors. In fact, the targets he did hit, while not announced, were CSF re-arming stations and airbases. The only people who knew about the targets were Mr. Focks and his Commanding Officer Gunny. Soon after, Mr. Focks left the Crossfire Police Department to enjoy a life of part-time mercenary work. When funds got low and eventually depleted, Cantana disappeared from the Sirius sector and known in secret to very few who still hold this secret today. Rumors sprung he was hiding out on Planet Denver in a secluded region 150 kilometers from the La Junta (pronounced la-HUN-tuh) settlement. Others state he left the Sirius Sector to the Andromeda or even the Canis or Orion Sector. Nobody will know. That brings us about 8 months ago when Mr. Focks started Focks Industries. Very few know how he amassed this great empire and the truth lies with these individuals.

So lets see if Boss Man confirms or denies any of this....should be interesting

Before i begin the juicy stuff i point to point out something Cantana Focks said in his press statement the other day. He basically "theorized" that it was I who hacked his databas to leak out the reactivation memo. He called me an "information activist." While this is the proper term for what i am, i salute to you Mr. Focks. Not like that bastard Kent Rolphana and the rest of mainstream news demonizing me as a "conspiracy theorist"

Now the House of Reinland has been up to shady dealings...ya know with the nomads, the secret funding of Corsairs and all sorts of stuff. nothing new. Well it so happens I was able to "obtain" an internal memo from Chancellor Maktin to his Secretary of State Wilhelm von Bruschter to order his ambassadors on Planet Manhattan, Planet New Tokyo and Planet New London to conduct espionage-type operations on their respective ambassadorial hosts. the memo goes into how they're going to spy on them and what information they need to listen for. The following is an excerpt of that list

Cantana Focks: We have never provided services to such individuals and will continue to deny services to those with extensive criminal background.
Johann Gut-Hausen: Was the leak about the reinstatement intentional? And if not, was the employee responsible reprimanded?
Cantana Focks: The leak was not most certainly not intentional. Our IT department has yet to find the source of the breach and so far, our analysts have theorized that the Information Activist 'Portalearth' was responsible.

A rumor released by the conspiracy theorist 'Portalearth' stated that Focks Industries was preparing to reinstate it's Security Department. While FI denies any internal memo leaks, a spokeperson for the mega-corporation that's found in every corner of Sirius and parts of Altair, had this to say:

While Mr Focks has yet to officially announce the "where's and when's" of the reactivation of our Security department, the CEO has been in contact with various beneficiaries to supply the means to hire, train and outfit a new Focks Industries Security Department. Focks Industries has spent 6.2 billion credits over the last 6 months to various security firms, information provided by the Liberty Business Transparency Act. SNN will keep you updated

The Galaxy Cup opener was concluded earlier this week. Jeremy Holwek of Planet Leeds came limping across the finish line in Omicron Theta to take the first ever Space Race Endurance Challenge. Galaxy Cup officials were extremely relieved at the end of the race. They do send condolences as well as a fat settlement check to those pilots families who were lost defending the racers with their lives. A memorial services sponsored by Focks Industries is slated later this week. The next Galaxy Cup race, the Bretonia 200 Open will begin their Qualifying rounds in the next couple weeks

even more so, my friend is letting me install Crossfire and Freelancer on her machine. so i hope this Pentium 4 3.2ghz 1gb RAM machine work decently enough (downloading mod and stuff and game now...)
