Very far from just the little "reminder" I wanted to pass down *sigh*
Sorry.
This is a game community SHS, and worthes much more than just RP to me (migth as well just play SP if not)
You can make friends, get to know new persons, and this is not just about getting inside a ship...
I know persons that I will (try to) blow up at first sight in game but that I deeply respect, and it does not prevent
me to be friend with at the bar (and way much more fun actually).
In any case, we are all here to have fun playing Crossfire, and this should add ties between us, rather than hatred.
Errr here I am again with my night stick sorry:
Just in case (having some doubts)
Offensive content is not permitted neither in CF, neither on this forum.... no matter what language is used
(even if I have no clue of what is being really said... which should not be the case, right? so maybe keep some things for PMs? )
I advise to stop there SHS.
This sort of talking leads to nothing but flames.
No one forces you to like Gunny and you have your own opinion (that you may also keep for yourself).
If you cannot respect some players, at least try to be polite?
Those rules are clear and simple (excuse me if I disagree but server rules are not "made to be broken"!!!)
This is not a debate I want to start about such or such rules,
my intend is just to inform possible persons not aware of those rules, as I often see them broken.
@Forlon: Exactly!
- Objective and thread done -
i have been busy and distracted, that is the main reason ive not been on that much, but hopefuly i can get back into routine
What's his name!!
Experienced clans and players can make the calculations by themselves...
Arrgh! I will need to hire a math/computer geek! (oh hello Arrow!)
husker: It will take you a good while to be able to learn everything that this mod has to offer (both SP and MP),
and this is very good this way!
There is also a free way to get precious info on ships without buying: sharing experience with other pilots or friends.
You will end up with good tips and heads on what to try out according to your tastes. I still learn every day, and I still
have a bunch of "unknown" ships to try out on my made up list
Because this is tiring to keep repeating same things over and over, it seemed to me
appropriate to remind here a few server rules regarding taxing/fining (and so you cannot say
you did not know)
Limits on fining/taxing:
Players below lvl40 cannot be fined/taxed (nor bountied for the matter)
From lvl40 to 49: Up to $500.000
From lvl50 to 59: Up to $1.000.000
From lvl60 and above: Up to $10.000.000
(server rules section2C: Role-playing Rules)
Hence, I do not want to see again people taxing a whole system without even checking if they may or not.
(friendly warning)
Sincerely,
[GR]Faaby
Fights were were very tied (2 double kills!), and I must admit the outcome could have been very different by just a few shots!
*salutes Shockwave*
I had a good time and it was fun
AoD still around?
How about giving the scouser, train and soulforge train more armor and possibly increase the power of their weaponry, so that you'd need atleast 2 or 3 careful VHFs to bring it down?
That way you could allow pirates to raid players in large transport ships, since the transporters could hold their own.
Just would add a bit more other than just "Yo u, tax now" to the entire piracy thing in CF. Might even get traders to hire a merc for added defense?
I dont know if that would take a load of time edit the armor and weaponry numbers of said big transporters, but I think it could easily add a new aspect.
Well, nothing prevents you to hire mercenaries already, eh?
As for making transports stronger... We've all seen smugglers in battleships those days,
and I am not sure that is what those ships were initially intended for (this should change in CF1.9
hopefully though).
To me a transport should not be a fortress, and it should need defenders to protect the valuable cargo.
Note: as a police officer, I have personally never been contacted for any escort mission -
Either because I am not "good" enough (although I doubt to be the only one), either because
transports/trains do not need/seek protection that badly?
Maybe start here before needing game changes...
errrr.... no comment...
This billboard has been reported a while ago when OP wanted to check for possible outdated boards.
This will probably be corrected with CF1.9 - that is if this clan does not rent the system anymore.
Within respect, honor, and friendship,
SA_FAABY is sending a formal challenge to |PX|Shockwave sometime during this upcoming week.
(I should be able to be available at any convenienced date/time - let me know ^^)
I recall that in a previous database (1.7 from sivosteen I think), ship DB had those info,
but I trully have no idea on how they were found.
I once tried to time turning speed but that was far from being very precise
(timing time needed to make 360° ), although it could give "clues"...
