    As far as I remem - OP said he would keep the server running as long as it is paid for - so clan leaders, IF they want to stay need to cough up.


    OP said he would close SWAT and that's his business


    Maybe he got fed up of reading all the people opinions on everything under the sun


    I dont mind all that - but then I only be reading stuff for 1.5 years on the forum, not like the 20 or so years OPs been reading all of our bullshit - but also sometimes good banter and good community spirit and some laughs.


    People can only shovel shit for so long before they say - that's enough - I am off!!

    Bloody OP has created this mod that I first found on LR years ago and nurtered a community which has consumed many hours of my life.

    Since I decide to take a little break from Crossfire there have been two server meetings - so I missed them both!!


    Damn.


    No one has posted what OP said, I got a few snipets from LP leaders but I am not sure of the overall picture.


    Correct me if I am wrong


    1. SWAT will be closed to all except SWAT clans?
    2. The server will be running on its own legs until it runs out of steam then collapses?

    Regarding taxing or firing at trains


    I have only shot down 3 trains in my 4 months now as an LP


    One a BG, who immediately switched to a VHF to get me :-)Then put a 100mill bounty on me
    The other one was a mistake
    The other one a BG who said gf :-)


    I am not very good at taxing trains :-)


    I am listening to you guys though with ur ideas and may give it a try when I return.


    So far its getting rave reviews

    As long as ur switch point is to a base that is good terms with ur police role I dont see a prob.

    One in Daed and the others sprinkled around.


    I will leave a char in the following places (for example)


    NL
    NB

    Calif

    But place them in pirates/junkers related bases.


    This I think is a good development of my roleplay.


    I will switch chars to wherever the action is, but only when I am docked.

    The roleplay ideas are developing fast and maybe someone needs to do a summary of what has been proposed and agreed?


    If I am chasing someone, I dont want to respawn many systems away, I think I will dock on the way :-)


    Otherwise it will be one pvp and ur out, there wil be less pvp on the server


    Basically I aint gonna chase IOC through 2-3 systems and get killed by Kyron to find myself back at squat - what is the point of that?

    Despite a few caveats I mention earlier - I be looking forward to my return


    Respect and many thanks to CFPD mafioso boss - Gunny who has been the main driver of roleplay on this server since I be here.


    Despite being on the end of his roleplay actions a few times - when he wasnt mad and taking his gloves off - when he was talking back (recent example - his ridiculous license to transport prisoners (HUGE LOL)) it has been lots of fun!!


    Everyone should know I prefer some foreplay before we engage :-)

    As I said a few times before, I think we need to simplify and not complicate.


    I would like to have the roleplay seamless and natural and without artificial barriers.


    In my limited experience of Crossfire, more rules meanz people argue about them online rather than just play. Especially those who dont have English as a main laguage - which is significant part of this community.


    However, I will read all the summaries with great interest and try and support them best of my abilities.


    Not sure about the idea that all VHF are docked/ launched from home system - I will not be doing that one if it sounds like what I think.


    No you cant limit me to one fighter.


    Disable F1 out of the game - unless u are docked.


    To summarise,
    I hope to go where I please (except clan systems)
    I tax who I want
    I trade where I want
    I run if I want
    I fight when I want
    I treat all other pople online with respect


    At the end I say gf to all brave pilots and get the same back :-)


    I am looking forward to the ongoing discussions on roleplay and how it develops. Change is GOOD and I hope when I come back in a couple of weeks it s GOOD :-)


    EDIT - I would encourage people to not be in their clan system but out of it doing roleplay


    All players should have a char based in NL, NB, NT and NY


    Get some pvp practise in roleplay rather than in Arena or your clan system

    Lost Prophets Clan {LP}: are not at war with anyone.


    This was instruction by our leader, Inferno, and as far as I know, has not changed whilst he be away.


    Wars are usually announced on forum and their is precedent for this. There has been no anouncement of war, either by us or against us - so no war - full stop.


    For those of you that access to LP Forum, you will know this has been clearly stated there as well.
