yes is a good game still play all of them freespace one and to great games where very advanced for there time and still like them a lot but i also liked tachyon the fringe to thought the ships there would be cool here to they were wicked looking ships ...

First Welcome Back Corp and second and i think people might have missed this guys comment and i think it bears some serious looking at yes we have mods and rp but we dont have story lines ......Story LInes Are What MAde The Game What It Was ..... modding is a great thing and tool but i think weve sorta lost the origanal feel of reelancer what drew us to the game in the first place was the story line it was good plot especially for a game of its time.. so maybe we should think about adding our own story lines give people a taste of what drew them to the game in the first place theres so much potentail even now..OP's mod has so many possabilities and could be great story lines.... instead of bribes to go to coalition space could be a series of thing you have to do in order to get good rep with coalition ... that type of thing would bring a great number of people from all around and it would be fun again to do missions that have a goal ... just something to think about

i PMed you OP awhile ago and i think its still a good idea that can at least be tried pulling everyone in the community in by putting a mod together with more ships from everyones mod like 2 or three ships plus to go along with Gunnies idea about the ships it think you should be able to customize your ship for the factions your in as well as get a good BS to be able to put together something that would take time to get all the pieces together to make a good BS ... theres engine components gun conponents shield components but make it so it takes awhile to get the components make them expensive and in areas thats not easy to access but can still be dockable ... the vesuveus hip you have in CF the carrier would be a very good start and once the BS reaches full potential it isnt allowed out of clan owned system .. guns for fighters should be upgradable but also cause damage enough to themselves that they are used sparringly and as for missles they should be a lot more expensive tired of the missle Spamming that is running amock..make them track the way they should but only allow for maybe 30 and cut there power down..guns for fighters could be raqmped up in the speed department and power cut but BS guns so far in this kind of game are very sad if your only going to use ten guns which is more like a cruiser than a real BS they need a great deal more power ..and the ability to fire in different intervals and there should be anti fighter guns and defence missles thats the only thing i didnt like about CF was the fact that BS is useless ,, but it doesnt have to be theres so much area that can be covered seriuosly the BS could be held in system unless theres a war then it could be escorted around by 3 or 4 escorts which is real world thinking .... ok ive talked enough and probably said more than enough lol but you said ideas i think that an all community mod should be put together ...getting permissions might be hard for some to think about giving up but you know if it brings people back to the community isnt that what the goal should be???

tried some fun for server tonight had an i want my coffee run with the winner recieving 50 mils and all others getting 10 mils each was good fun had one player get lost and another get stranded in sol but PX to the rescue they went and brought him out all in all a good event good job m8s therell be more runs

lol Lucy any 2 cents is better than none and we will have to try harder to get more events running so we can have more ppl playing thats why some of the new ideas i hope are looked at seriuosly
and @ Crysis m8 we use to do one like that wonder what happened to it might have to try it again can be done again and can be done as SP i believe Gunny use to send pple after coffee sorry no donuts im allergic lol

i have a couple of event ideas id like to try on everyone

1. this event will be a capture the flag event it would need 2 EMs to participate its great fun.

will be 2 teams both in seperate groups which will include one of the Ems

idea is to get Flag to opposite side or base

when oposing team gets to 5k must send an invite to EM or flag who excepts invite then forms on the ship that does the invite to try and take flag to base....

flag can be defended but cannot be reinvited or moved to home base until oposing fighter that has Flag is killed...

no cding the flags ... and if opposing flag reaches your base you score 1 point game winners can be determined by first team to reach 5 points

there will be a rabbit or runner one ship he has to make it thru the designated sytem alive ......

there will be no limit on BS in this event ...

ok we have the rabbit he starts in 3043 and has to get thru to new york docking ring in his way can be fighters destroyers and full BS the idea is the runner could be carring nuclear weapons to drop on manhatten he must be stopped at all costs object is simple stop him .....

@at Jack m8 i wanted say same thing and wasnt allowed so as far as im concerned he does need to do that because all it will do is make ppl leave but then thats his goal anyway he wants to try and cause trouble so ppl leave at this point hes only one that needs to leave i enjoy the game and like Slayer said its the political BS that is going to kill FL if thats what you want m8 then keep up by all means ... this is pointless and i agree stop sinkin the ship .... do your part to make it good again!!!! if you cant help then leave better yet if your wanting FL to live on then maybe you do need to go many still like the game many always will but appearntly you dont otherwise none of this would have had a need to be posted .... So i sorry but maybe you need to look deep inside yourself and see if you have the love of the game you say you do .... I know OP loves the game i see it in the mod i see it in the forums and i see it around .. so please dont ruin it for the rest of us that do love the game go away... come back when you can honestly say you love the game and want to save the community.... because the only one i see trying to look ahead to the future right now is OP .. all you seem to want to do is coast till it dies .. if thats love for the game then man you need to step back and look at things again ...
