    LMAO thats a very fair comment about Microsoft OS but this one is simply not true:

    Out of all my games new and old the only game i have any problem with running is CF/FL i even have older games then FL and they run perfectly so what does that say about FL infact to be true even FL vanilla runs ok until you put on the CF mod then i have to uninstall my AV to allow it to work lol.(Not that im saying there is a problem with CF mod itself) but i have to admit running some of my othere older games like C&C Generals took some figuring out and it could have been easier to do but i allways found a sollution to the problems ... i will call Bitdefender to see where the problem lies in my AV software that prevents CF to work as it should.... Fingers crossed they come up with somthing.


    All very strange really but im sure Windows 7 will spring up some more frustrating problems for us users to shout about.

  • Vista - Tried it all!

    Im using Vista 64 i dont have to set my explorer to work offline ... but what i did find is that i had to install the 1.7a patch twice for some reason and also when you run CF for the 1st time make sure you right click on the short cut and run as administrator all should be fine after that.

    I appreciate and respect your feelings on this matter OP im a strong believer in principles myself .... but like Huor says just instruct them that the SWAT logo and USAF logo is not to appear together that is your right ....


    These awards are there for recognition of great modders you are one of those and your work should be recognised and appreciated by keeping SWAT in the competition ... in my eyes this doesn't go against your beliefs its not like you are opening your doors for them to step into SWAT in anyway and im pretty sure no one else would think bad of you either.


    And by the way the post i made before using microsoft as an example was just my humour ... but there is companies out there that have done far more damaging things and that is what my point was.

    I can see where your going with this and to a point i agree selecting any military for sponsorship is poor choice... but i would also like to point out that there are many corperate companies across the world that have done far worse to other countries than any military has (Microsoft for instance lol that was a joke... or was it?!!!) ..... so where does this end... do you say no to any sponsership? just incase someone somewhere in the world objects or takes offence!!! Just thought i would chuck my thoughts into the pile sorry if i upset anyone.

    Well Franco im a young 35 but there is older players out there.... I personally see no reason why you should ever feel to old to play any game....


    If the truth be known ... your grandson is just jealous that at an older age you can still play and be good at it lol.... and your wife... well she could be either jealous your spending more time on the game than on her lol or she just thinks your a big kid and should know better.... well i say there is a big kid in all us men and it never grows up lmao


    And i couldnt agree more gamming does keep the mind sharp and stimulated so that cant be a bad thing either.


    So to you my friend and to the othere older guys may we all have many many many years of gamming in us.
