My Appologise to you OP ... but some people need to wake up and see whats going on around them ... whilst im sure ... infact i know w0dk4 has done some good for the FL community but the point is right now ... right this moment in time he is not and like i said this isnt the only time w0dk4 name has come up when the shit flinging competition starts ... and this is what i and otheres judge him on.

w0dk4 maybe OP was having a party at his house who knows.... just by the fact you come on here telling me and the otheres OP did this and that ... and you expect us to take your word for it? for all i know you could have 5 fake chars on the SWAT forum.

Your calculations on server activity is obviously flawed since most people i know from 2006 except a few left FL to play other games and i sure haven't seen a sudden insurge of new players rushing in to the remaining servers .... numbers are down across the board ... and arguing and throwing false accusations isnt going to help matters ... of all the games i play FL seems to be the only one where modding teams are virtually at war with each othere and not in a profesional way ... healthy competition is allways good... but to attack another modding team or server is just pathetic ... this is the reason FL suffers so badly this is the reason players leave because there is only so much anyone can take before the Fun factor wears off and the game becomes more of a political strugle than an actual enjoyable game.

w0dk4 before you answere again think ... think about where you stand in the FL community and what future you would like to see for FL ... and then think about the damage you personally will cause by your actions ... if you want FL to be enjoyable for the forseeable future then help to be the sollution not add to the problem ... rather than waste your time trying to find fake's and throwing accusations look at mending bridges and trying to find diplomatic sollutions .. i would have thought that would be a more pro-active way of helping the FL community than this!!!!

As for the accusations of using fake user accounts .... im pretty sure that can be put down to probably another German player using the same translator and making the same mistakes ... i know if i put my clan leader and OP on a forum and asked them to create a post and told them to use fake names i wouldn't be able to tell the difference...... so maybe w0dk4 should open his eyes up to the possiblity that a mistake has been made and that there are many othere posibilities out there .... as for the IP match i seriously doubt that ... one thing i do know if OP has anything to say he will say it and OP will never hide behind a fake char and why would anyone that is passionate about somthing and there commenting on somthing they believe in.

OP is very miss-understood by a lot of people ... these people read what OP says and the way he says it and take it as he is being Big Headed ... Arrogant ... Rude ... This is not the case OP allways tries his best to help people no matter what clan ... server or modding team they come from ... but unfortunatly some that read what OP posts find it Rude and Insulting and i know 100% OP doesn't mean it that way but the people reading it should see there are some translation issues and make allowances .... its more there ignorance for thinking everyone in the world should know how to use the english language in the correct manor ... im pretty sure if i used a translator to tranlate this post into German or any othere language that this post would read different.

Couldn't be further from the truth Rogue!!! but what i see is the same everytime and it simply boils down to this.... online language translators are crap ... and very often the translation leads the reader to thinking this guy is arrogant or rude .... hence why people get pissed off and become abusive back.

I know this is a fact as i see it in the clan im Co-Leader of ... the leader is a very nice German guy called Def and he uses these stupid translators and i have to proof read things before he posts because of exactly the same reason.

And i know traslators are used because exactly the same mistakes are made ... not the fault of any party its just the way it is ... so basically what im saying is ... when you read a post by someone that doesn't use the english language as there main language then the person reading should take into account that these mistakes happen and shouldn't take what is written as malicious or abusive.

Very negative and depressive reading .... this is sure to boost FL population numbers ... Well Done All!!!! ( I can see why Microsoft have never given FL a 2nd look)

I have tried and tested the New ZoneAlarm Internet security for Vista it works well and also allows you to play FL/CF with no issues what so ever:) and you can find it here:

Now i ask myself is the issue actually with Vista or these AV programers .... if ZoneAlarm and a couple othere can manage to build an AV program which has 0 issues why cant the otheres.

Vista has no problem running CF/FL until you add a 3rd party AV program .... i have been talking to my present AV software provider (Bitdefender) about the issues with my AV blocking CF/FL and they have no resolve..... this is what has made me look and research othere AV programs and like i said i tested Zonealarm and i connected to CF with no problems at all.... ZoneAlarm are now using Kaspersky's basic AV engine in there software so its not a bad all round program.... I have decided to go for Kaspersky AV as i had seen that on an independant test they out scored most AV software by a pretty big margin scoring 74% virus detection and Bitdefender in 2nd place scoring 54% and even tho it won't let me connect to CF/FL i would rather go for security any day.

Also im my research i came accross a very good Spyware program and after doing some research there actually the best spyware program its called spyzooka they offer a garunteed 100% removal of any spyware ... maleware.... you can find it here:

Ok aslong as you have the most uptodate version of Zonealarm then that is not the problem as i have been trying it out for 3 weeks now using Vista and there is no issues....

What i would suggest you do is 1st make sure all your drivers are Uptodate IE Sound and Video card as i have had this problem your are explaining before due to an old driver also turn off the 3d sound as this can have the same effect.

With your friends server do i assume that you are not the only one connecting to it and that no one else has any problem?

@ Wavey i was just quoting what was said last time this discussion took place and then it was ok to accept the fact that it was impossible.... unlesss the CF mod has changed in the last 7 months then surely this answere still stands.

@ Daywalker calm down Wavey was just using it as an example not to discredit you.... and lets face it i think we have all been guilty at some point of Dock Raping/ Spawnkilling or whatever you want to call it.

so how to stop this happening? quite simple play nice and treat otheres the same way you want to be treated and if you do decide to spawnkill don't bitch about it when someone does the same back to you or if an SP happens to see it and kicks you from the sever.

Hmmm now i remember this subject comming up once and the response then was that Dock raping during docking or undocking was impossible... as when ur in docking or undocking scene your ship takes no damage....

Amazing work there Max ... some very chilled tunes there i like very much .... question for ya ...have you ever thought of sending some of your work to well know Trance DJ's like Tiesto or Armin Van Buuren? i really think they could pull of some really cool mix's with some of your amazing work!!! Just a thought. Especially Track 2 and 9:)

EDIT*** i pulled my previous post due to a miss understanding on my part and i appologise for upsetting anyone.

I have vista 64 also .... this is what i did to get it to work.... Install FL ... then FLMM ... the CF 1.7 and activate.... then install CF1.7A patch you may have to install this twice.... the 1st time you start CF Run as Administrator.... I had to totally remove my AV program because of some confliction between AV programs and Vista.... Now all should work fine ... good luck.

Just to confuse things a little more ... you dont need to rename the FLMM as when the mod is activated the MM then becomes pretty useless anyway... so you can delete ur FLMM and reinstall new.
