Well thankyou very much Lucy LOL im a very young 35 yr old lol not that old really but old enough to have a big collection of vinyl and tapes infact im pretty sure somewhere i have some 8 track.... now that is old hehehe

LOL Centurian i meant when i rip the cd on to my hdd using win media player on most my cd's it labels them as track 1 and 2 and 3 and so on and so on where as i personally like to see the name of the track in the file to save me having to either copy the cover or to dig out the cd just to view the tracks especially when i have somthing like 350 gig of music on my HDD it takes a lot to remember what all the tracks are called and what numbers they are but also if you have an old CD the album information wasnt actually stored on the CD.

But hey im old enough to own some of the very 1st CD's ever to be produced i still have a massive Vinyl and Tape collection that i want to add to my HDD next and FreeRip will help me label them to in a matter of seconds:P

Yes Win Media player is good but it doesnt title all the tracks which is a bit of a pain in the butt plus its painfully slow.

I would imagine that pretty much most places in the uk you can get some sort of Broadband aslong as you can get a mobile phone signal with the aid of mobile Broadband you can get Broadband.

My mother is in the Lake District surrounded by National Parks and knowing how strict they are on there rules im supprised she gets Broadband and Mobile signal.

Basically it looks like what you did is the only way to allow the transmission through... but yes try the port trigger settings.

    Port Range Forward
To forward a port, enter the information on each line for
    the criteria required.

Application In this field, enter the name you wish to give
the application. Each name can be up to 12 characters.
Start/End This is the port range. Enter the number that
starts the port range in the Start column and the number that ends the range in the End column.

either TCP or UDP, or Both.

IP Address For each application, enter the IP Address of
the PC running the specific application.

Enable Select Enable to enable port forwarding for the
    relevant application.

Click Save Settings to apply your changes, or click Cancel
    Changes to cancel your changes.

Applications & Gaming > Port Triggering
The Applications & Gaming > Port Triggering screen allows the Router to watch outgoing data for specific port numbers.

The IP address of the computer that sends the
matching data is remembered by the Router, so that when the requested data returns through the Router, the data is pulled back to the proper computer by way of IP address and port mapping rules.

    Port Triggering
Application Enter the application name of the trigger.
    Triggered Range
For each application, list the triggered port number range.
Check with the Internet application documentation for
    the port number(s) needed

I have never heared of not being able to remove any software other than reinstalling windows that just seems ridiculous.

There is no issue with running CF on Vista 64 i myself use Vista 64 Ultimate the only issue i get is my Firewall seems to block CF try a reinstall and make sure you remove everything to do with the original install from you program 32 folder also remove all from My Documents and your Temp folder.... you may have to go into your folder settings to show the hidden files.

why do you have to re install windows because of that cant you just remove MS3d and make sure you clear all old reminants of the old software from you programs... temp files and remove any entries from the registry.

LOL very funny .... well i know quite a lot of people that use this and have no problem i suppose its just down to personal taste really.... might be worth a try still.

I believe Wavey uses Miranda might be worth asking him if he has any probs.
