Windows vista is extrememly lite on resources if you know what you are doing and know how to use it ... my exp with Win 7 hasn't been good... many series of crashes during game play especially whan playing games like Arma and Arma 2 which is to be expected i suppose for a RC release ... Win 7 is exactly like Vista with very little visual differences with a few added functions and to be totally honest i see very little difference in the resources used between Win 7 and Vista SP2 when its set up correctly.

I have no doubt that Win 7 will be the better of the 2 OS once SP1 or 2 is released but then what OS ever came out that was perfect on first release.

Hmmm this must be there next step ... they failed in public boards and now they throw threats via Email ... how childish.

Unfortuantly it appears that Zoomer is one of these people that you can try talking sense to but he will never get it ... people like this will never grasp the fact that for somthing to work support from all parties are needed.

The only fortunate thing is that the FL community has enough people in it to out weigh the bad apples ... Zoomer do yourself a favour and go spread you negative crap elsewhere outside the FL community .

1st of all thankyou Friendlyfire in seeing some of the problems and making an effort to address them ... this is a very positive move and one that is much needed.

There modders work side by side infact so much so that this game im playing called Arma was loosing a lot of players due to people getting bored and waiting for the release of Arma2 ... so what happened is modders got together and created a pure work of art they actually made Arma work and play better than ever ... people started returning servers became more populated... now Arma 2 has been released in Germany and the UK will see release the 19th of this month but the strange thing is the modders of Arma have closed the gap so much on how Arma plays and looks that Arma 2 doesn't look that much better ... so what im saying is the proof is there if people get along and work together the possibilities of lets say even a FL2 is not that far out of grasp.

The question is where does the community go from here? ... there are many things that i could think of but it's not my place to say but a plan of action needs to be set by all parties concerned.

Yet, my only basic point here has been from the start of this "discussion" that these sort of accusations are not helping anybody, which also seems to be your own point. So I find it odd you attack me based on that argument.

I agree accusations don't help anyone but its your accusations and othere's that have started this post in the 1st place ... and also for the record im not saying your the one fighting here ... but come on lets be honest you haven't treated OP/SWAT fairly on othere forums .. I just don't see why someone can't just stand up and have the balls to say lets stop this and learn to work as a team.

OP is not this negative person you make him out to be... yes he has pride over his work and yes he is passionate about it ... but tell me where is the fault in that?

If it wasn't for the pride and passion that OP and othere respected members of this community share SWAT portal wouldn't be as good and as active as it is today.

I just h8 to see good people get attacked all the time ... very rare have i seen a post where someone has congratulated SWAT and OP and thanked these people for there help but instead unfortunatly there are many saying the complete opposite... spreading lies and hatred within the community and also on public boards ... how can this be fair?
