Do you mean a Wiki, like a Wiki overall (Gameplay, Roleplay, behaviour, Fractions, Bases, Equipment, JG/JH - Positions, Accessability (according to reputation))
Or just a Wiki like the 'Wiki' on the Database for CF 1.7 (made by Dr.Straw) was?

    hey mate.
the basilisk might not be the perfect choice to fight the ancients, because it is too slow in turning. the guns are not bad, if you hit your target.
imo the key for getting the ancients to die is moving as fast as possible (all the time)

    good luck :)

    I'm running Windows 7 Ultima 32bit (english)

and YES, Freelancer (and the Crossfire-mod) are running.

It also runs on Windows XP, and Windows Vista

    well..
pro of NOT being in a clan is:

you are free to chose whatever license (if even any) you wanna have on your ship
you can switch license as much and as often as you want (if you prefer to have a license. cop, smuggler, pirate)
you dont have to follow anyones rules (exept the server rules, whether you are a clan-member, or a freelancer)
you pick YOUR own way, and dont have to go the way others made up already
you can still be friend with everyone on the server (clan-member or not) and you dont have to worry about enemies (unless you prefer to jump into a huge pile of trouble, on purpose)
you can still get support from others (if you are friends with, or a known member, due long term presence)
you can still support others (if you can afford it)
you dont have to bother with any ongoing clan-wars (unless you get hired to support)

pro of being in a clan:

I dont know any, cause I've never been in any clan (since 2006)

I just wonder a few things..

DK's and Nomads are species, no one has ever seen, right? Only their 'ships'
So how about thinking that those species are not really look like human beings.
I mean, do they really have eyes, a nose, a kind of mouth? Do they really have a head?
Do they really walk on feet? Do they have legs?

Ok, the 3rd posted picture looks quite tempting, but I seriously doubt that the race DK and their little helpers, the Nomads, have a look like a human being with arms and legs and a torso in between.

    Hello to all Freelancer fans.

I am somhow fascinated of this game, since I bought it. I prefer to play singleplayer but I am quite impressed of what has been done for this game.
The Crossfire-Mod is great, in my opinion and I will clean my harddrive and neglect my daughter again for version 1.8.
Many thanks to those people who run and support this place and to those who gave this much information and 'genious' hours, I experienced.

Mary christmas and also a good slide into the new year.

there are several gouvernments, which have to deal with debts. Just increase the taxes, several times.
It might not really help, but thats what others do too. And it might increase the liquidity temporarily. :D

    just as anca said already.

Install the game (and! the mod) as administrator. Means, don't use the 'Autostart' option of the cd, during installation.

When the game is installed, just start it as administrator as well.

    Install Guide

And don't forget to give CF permission to connect to the internet (if you get asked, cause the firewall might block it, at the first run)

I run CF on WinXP and Win Vista and both is working quite perfect.
And I didn't do anything special, during the installation on the Vista system, but running as administrator.

    ;)

I'm on a 4-week-vacation now and I'm looking forward to leave germany on Tuesday next week, for a first time visit at my parents-in-law.

3,5 weeks America.. well. I hope I will survive the experience I might get there.
