    Duvelske:
Smugglers make cash with no matter what vessel, as long it fits their needs.
Pirates use vessels which fit their needs to rob other vessels or (sometimes) make cash the legal way.
Cops do it the same way.
Mercenaries pick vessels which fit their needs depending on their contract and/or style.

A mining ship has its advantages and also its disadvantages.
It has a big hull and shield, yes. And it has a bigger cargo hold than usual fighters.
But on the contrary it has NO weapons to mount (other than this build in turrets)
It has no thruster to, no minedropper, and no other equipment you can possibly mount on it.

Do you want to put restrictions on ships now. Saying what sort of ship is allowed to use for certain factions (rp)?
If so, then you should also demand that NO other faction but traders are allowed to have trains and/or any other trading vessels (such as APC, bullpop, armored transport ect)
Because cops, pirates and mercenaries are no traders.

And if you can not take out a smuggling pilot who flying a mining ship, then you seriously need some practice :)

    Just think about it. ;)

It's not that difficult to transfer cash between 2 accounts/ID's
the steps Portalearth explained are right so far. BUT
If you want to transfer your cash from one of your ID's to another one of your own ID's (where no one else has access to)
Simply use the following steps and there is no third party needed and you don't have to be online with both accounts at the same time
(assuming you have created a new ID/account already and there is at least one char active (created) on it)

be online with the -sending- account (any char from it)
/deposit xxx - deposit xxx cash (xxx is the number your depositing) ex. /deposit 10000000
/transfer [exact Player name] [xxx] - transfer xxx cash to the specified player ex /transfer char_on_my_second_ID 10000000
note: for this action the receiving char does NOT have to be online, but the char has to exist (has to be created) on the server

then switch to the new account/ID and select the char (you have created already)
    /withdraw xxx - withdraw xxx cash ex. /withdraw 10000000
and so you have the cash available on your new char on a new ID

note: the bank is linked to the ID/account and not to a particular char on the ID/account
note: since the accounts/ID's dont have "accessable" names for players, you have to create a char on any account/ID you want to send money to. In this way the banking system "recognizes" the account (because its "looking" for the char-name) and sends the cash to the account/ID the char is placed on

    I hope its helping
ps: any other questions, just ask

It's a good idea. And I think you could include the information if that training is open for all factions or just lawful factions.
Also giving a bit more information how long a lesson is 1hr, 1 day or whatever. So people could calculate a bit better, if it's "worth it" to invest or taking you offer into consideration.

    Just my opinion.

And. I might like ot apply ;)

{LP}Knightshade{X}: easiest way to get back to it, is simply doing rp. tax everyone and everything you see.
The fights the opponent will win, make them believing they are "safe". once they feel "safe" they become careless and to confidently. Take that to your advantage. And believe me, you will love it ;)

Its not the video what matters that much, its more the structure of the processor what does most of the work.

Vishnu: Don't worry, a quad core can handle it. and the right RAM ofc
I myself stepped down. Had a dual core 2.6GHz and now working with a quad core 2.2GHz, faster, smoother ect.
Maya and 3dsMax running better now tho :) (but maybe that only depends on the double size of ram I use now)

I... don't understand half of the posts/stuff on there. And can't keep active/remember a place that's not of highest interest for me, as my time is limited lately.

Thats pretty funny. Since have of the posts on here is from you .. lol 12 Posts and 6 of them from you.

Pretty simple. you got a dog - talk.. you got no dog - stay quiet :D

    First off.
Is it possible to NOT have another trade-complaint thread?

I see the whole thing as follow:

    - to tax/fine a guy who is "trading" containers - he is not willing to pay, because he rather dies and looses less than paying any credits.
When he dies with containers mounted, then he doesn't lose anything (not even the investment he made), because he has NO cargo to lose at all. Therefor taxing/fining the container "trading" guys is less profitable for those who actually really try to do any roleplay.

    - to tax/fine a guy who is actually trading any kind of commodities (which I would considered real trading) does mostly work out in a better way, because this guy can actually lose something worthy if he is not willing to pay.

So far, people are way too spoiled in this game. Getting cash way too easy. They have had too much opportunities to get huge ammounts of profit, while actually having to work for it as less as possible.
I'm not taking myself out of it. Yes I loved the high value trades as well. But I'm not crying now that they are gone and that I actually have to look for other ways to earn cash.

But of course a lot of people will disagree, since they rather have only one TL to travel in order to make millions of profit, than having 3 or 5 systems to cross in order to make a earning.
And I also think complaining about it, just makes the whole situation worse, more than it is actually increasing something.

It was an observation, from my pov, not flame :P

whatever you think and whatever makes you feel good.
Keep dreaming boy, Im tired of it.

    well. see it like this.
When you have time, try to convince the trolls and flame-throwers to stop their attacks.
But being successfull at this would also mean that you get less cheese :)
    want a piece ? ;)

    I don't really understand it.
Most people who "trade" don't even know what trading actually means.
Trading is nothing else than getting the most cash out of selling stuff you bought for as less credits as possible.
    eg.
bying water for 5 and selling it for 30 = 500% profit
bying BMG for 1500 and selling it for 2000 = 50% profit. Get the difference?
It's not about making 100 million within 10 minutes.
You guys can't really expect to be on the run for 10 minutes and having earned 100 milion.

The cargo usage of some sort of commodity is mean now, yes. Water/1 | Diamonds/3. So you can load 2.500 water on a train but you can only load 833 diamonds. But you have to admit, you make higher profit with the low commodity than you do with the "high value" stuff. You risk less but you get way more out of it (in the long run)

Other thing is the mass effect.
Sure its kinda odd when a starflier flips you off the track for about 4k while you are in a BS (for example).
Been through that myself. Flying a BS (which should have a lot more mass than a light fighter) and there it comes TL distrupted and right behind me are an NPC in his starflier bumping into me (because of that distrupted TL) and I see myself stop spinning more than 4k above the TL.
Same thing is when you fly with train or cap ship through asteroid fields. The smallest rock makes you flip like a pinball, spinning like crazy completely. But when you try to turn your vessel you need eternaties to get in another direction from standing.

    But hey. It's a game.
When you see it like "its not real, thats not possible and so on"
Then tell me please, how is it possible for a vessel IN SPACE to stop almost immediately without having to press any engine boost backwards in order to make a reverse burst for a slow down?
Tell me how is it possible for a CRUISE distrupter to bring your vessel to an almost immediate stand still, when being hitted while NOT being in cruise but in "sliding mode" ?

    It's a GAME mates.
If you want something real, then go in your garage and repair your car, play with your girlfriend, or make some homework for school. No offense. ;)
