fully uninstalling original game and mod and manager has fixed the mod manager so i could select low res nebular option to enabled i think that was the issue checking now

am reinstalling everything again hopefully sort it if it happens again ill get pics

hi all right i went to sol system and all my textures are weird also i notice planets dont look right ive tried loading low res nebulars in FLMM to install the mod it giving me errors see i have not had a issue with this before could it be i need to start all over again ie delete freelancer the game it self and the mod etc and start fresh or what

i have figured out what the problem was it was my voltages under volting ie core voltage which was crashing my system

i went to the extremes of changing operating system from windows 10 1903 to windows 7 64 bit and i found i still had same issues so was not windows 10 after all so what i will do is reinstall windows 10 tomorrow but i will install latest windows 10 version 1909 and test that operating system i will always look at my voltages more often when im having crashes as this time has fixed it perfectly.

my bios used to show 1.16 core voltage which is not enough and that was auto so i have set it to 1.28 volts and is very stable now my sound not is getting muffled everything is more snappy now still need to do more research for my cpu max voltages etc but aslong as i keep temps low everything will be great i have a good motherboard so that's not a issue.

really happy i have figured it out only took a full day lol haha but seems good now will do a stress test for longer tonight have system running while im in bed if does not pass with just shut down so hopefully be back on mod tomorrow this os im using atm is not what i want to use as i want DX 12 and wndows 7 does not fully support DX 12.

had to repaste my north bridge also thats was very dry which could of caused issus also so new paste on that.

Windows 10 is absolutely bs if u have a sound card fact

Also I don't play old games other than freelancer been there done them i look to the future of gaming awesome graphics and sound effects so i need to buy a sound card to complete the features for new games and future releases have to remember this card i have is 10 years old or older technology great card for music and movies but for gaming not so much and alot of people have alot of issues with creative why do u think people have had to mod drivers to support these cards is because creative are useless mate the support from them is shocking also

ya cool mate yeah i reinstalled yesterday fresh drivers and worked great lastnight but i tried gaming today on farcry 5 to test stuff ie sound card and everything else now my sound card is causing event ID 41 ive tried putting sound card into a different pci slot same issue sound cuts out then crashes my system so may sell my sound card as i cant be bothered to mess around with driver installs etc unless i go back to windows 7 i read online that microsoft may be putting DX12 into windows 7 hopefully they do then there will be no need for windows 10.

only reason why i use windows 10 for DX12 also i use a software to stop all windows updates etc so that is not a issue but i did do some updates but i selected what to update as i made a post about it on here which worked but from there i have had issues with sound cutting out then today sound was doing same but crashing my whole system i have fixed it now i think just take sound card out of system using onboard audio is fine may buy new sound card but not creative as they are useless for support they are like EA money grabbing twats

Card looks fine all there was a bit of cotton looking think in my pcie slot got that out checked all pins closely and on gpu all fine hope that bit off whatever it was was causing it I've taken my sound card out also and use on board audio

think i pin pointed it out gpu is perfect just played a mission for 20 mins on farcry 5 with onboard audio driver not my sb xfi titanium fidelity pro card and run flawless no sound cut outs or anything so maybe a driver isue with my sound card or my sound card is on its way out im thinking its a driver issue i am really thinking of installing the new version of windows 10 do a fresh os complete wipe of ssd

played fine but after 5 minutes sound cuts out game still runs weird im going to check pins on card etc back in a flash

nope i sold my old gpu i will try resetting it ill just try farcry 5 again see if it crashes im going to get a fan curve to run in background so i can pin point its not the heat that is doing it ill post back

Hi all im having issues with this atm all of a sudden when i play a game sound cuts out whole system crashes then shuts down and reboots not sure if its a windows update or what could be driver issue power supply ram i have checked all connectors to motherboard they are secure driving me nuts

im not getting no dump files or anything no BSOD at all very weird just played freelancer mod online for around 30 min no issues ill try farcry 5 again as it keeps happening on that game sound glitches out then total freeze

could it be because amd crimson and msi afterburner have compatibility issues i have no option to set fan curve and amd crimson saves to load my fan speed has issues loading the profiles when gaming my gpu is crashing at the heat not sure will try load a fan curve software on see how it goes

Hi all making a thread about latest AMD driver which i am finding bugs in which is causing my whole system to freeze am getting kernal messages from event viewer and its saying my display driver is crashing my system so just a heads up there are issues with the driver im reverting back to 19.9.2 drivers will keep up dated if have any issues on this driver.

for whom are running AMD drivers

Also for people who dont know about DDU ( Display Driver Uninstaller ) for uninstalling graphics drivers is best software to use to uninstall never use programs and features as they never delete all files etc

same am thinking about it doing some research before hand need to do checks with my sound card and creative software on new version etc dont know why windows always has to mess with things with all these updates rather they took 5 years to fully test and iron out all compatibility issues with drivers etc with other company's software.

Microsoft are a joke really thinking of going to linux again

if anyone has and creative sound cards there are modded drivers that are a work around because creative drivers are bollocks the 2 sites to go to are ( ill put links which is easier to find

your welcome hope it helps others who have driver issues ( tip for you install latests win 10 driver from creative first is important ) ( but with creative they don't add all the features so what u need to do is go to the site links i added and download a pack for same card and that will add all the features ( A MUST IS TO DISABLE DRIVER SIGNATURE ON WINDOWS 10 ) so it does not give you conflicts between both drivers.

make a folder in c drive saying PAX drivers or Daniel K drivers folder then install in that folder ( that is a must also )

Hi all is anyone using the new version of windows 10 i need to update because of sound driver issues again ( windows 10 is a absolute pain in the ass ) i dont want to revert back to windows 7 as i need DX12.

i need to know if anyone is using new version and how it is with driver compatibility performance etc

For me, as a new player this would probably have helped a fair bit. Getting a "you are banned" message after trying to get started for the first time was quite offputting, so I'm guessing it's not working great in the intrest of getting new players.

there are loads of people here who are willing to help we all have issues one way or another somewhere its all about working together to fix issues mate hope it don't stop you from joining this awesome mod as it could be something really easy to fix

yeah i understand there is always a reason for cheat system to trigger but sometimes is hard to pin point the real reason for it to flag up in my opinion it can never always get things right every time i may be wrong but that's how i see it no software is perfect or code
