there is, in my view, no need to camp in menton or in lost paradise. yes the hyperspace trip is a long one but isnt that the idea? DKA's are supposed to be hard to get hold of, so do the whole trip as a group and enjoy it. i have on many an occasion with other players in my SP char and my RP char. its a challenge, and so it should be. DK space is eye candy, the DK cruisers and motherships are too; its worth doing the trip just to see them let alone trying to destroy them.

camping in menton or in lost paradise is as wrong as camping on the diamonback mkII wreck in X or on the tomsk gate for the coalie turrets. it sets you at an unfair advantage to all the other players on the server. and is against server rules.

play fair, enjoy the newer systems, work together and have fun.

i banned you for good reason, wether you agree/like those reasons are no concern of mine. i do my duty as an SP on this server, and if you guys cant/wont respect that then its not my problem. you are offensive, lewd and crude in system chat and that is not acceptable in my view. if you view that as homophobia, then again, that is your point of view. fortunately for yourselves you ran into me as SP, others arent as forgiving. apart from that i admit i repeatedly killed you in my RP char, as GAY clan are set to KoS with UAC, lol, tough! i explained what you were saying on system chat was offensive, you disagreed, not that it matters because in my view it WAS offensive. you repeatedly argued this with me and you did insult me intentionally. YOU ARE BANNED BY ME.

your clan have allways acted in the same way, and from my experience, allways will. you will allways be KoS with UAC, from an RP point of view. so just accept it.

:P, UAC are still here m8. its just that we have lost members and as soon as n00bs appear they get snapped up by other clans before settling in and getting used to the server. i'm a little more cautious and selective over who i CHOOSE to recruit.... and im here every day m8.

heres an idea OP.......how about a server rule that n00bs arent allowed to join a clan for a minimum 1 week on the server, to allow them to get used/settle in to the server, and experience all aspects of the rp before being badgered by the clans.

the lenth of the fights between 2 players are so long because of thier level of skill, it has very little to do with the power of the guns. (IOC)Trent used to use an eagle with high refire lvl 9 guns and used to kick ass with it, was a pleasure to watch. if you land all 6 gun shots on your opponent at once the damage is huge, no need for higher power. it would be ice to see higher refire, 4.00 or 5.88, lower power long range guns introduced to appeal to a wider range of players, and to compete with the gatts and ppc's, and add more diversity to the pvp.
but, imo, the power shouldnt be made higher, its high enough as it is. dont forget that pvp is also for training and shorter fights wont teach less skilled players anyything.
As for missiles. well whats the point if you cant dodge them or shoot/cd them? everyone would mount 6 nemesis and kill his opponent in one pass. pointless really. same with torps. you have to learn how to use them effectively, thats they key. as for the amount of missiles carried 50 is more than enough. if you use all of them against 1 opponent then you obviously need to learn to use them more effectively.

you could put power levels through the roof on all guns/missiles. but pvp is a test of players skill and endurance. in war you dont ask for a ceasefire coz your trigger finger has cramp do you?!!

well having a program like that running removes one vital element from the day to day play of the game, EXPLORATION. i myself have a char that has visited over 90 systems and 234 bases in order for me to map and gather commodity imformation. lots of other players have done the same. the idea of a program to predetermine the best trades of the day, in my eyes, rubbishes the time and efforts of the players who have taken the time to explore and play the game as it should be. and by issuing a broadcast to the CF universe on "the trade of the day" it will mean everybody will be in the same place doing the same thing, zero diversity, when there are over 100 systems here only a handfull would ever be utilised.
Apart from the above reasons, i would class it as a mod to have that kind of program running as it is not integral to the CF files. and as its against server rules to have any other mod running in conjunction with CF i would ban you.

well OP has made his decision and inplemented the new server rule that we SP's will enforce. you all should now know the new rule. if not im constantly reminding ppl on universal chat. hell i argued every point, but OP's decision is final.

you heard i issued a KOS on all pirates? i was speaking in context of LP not issuing any warning or reason for killing players in the confusion when OP forced the evacuation of NY. take that how you will, but issue a KOS? no.
LP acted unfairly in that instance imo.

Well all i can say is well done and thanks very much to all those ppl that persistently used NY as a safe haven to run to whilst under attack. you all know who you are, not that i suspect that you care about the reprocutions of your actions, as it doesnt affect your RP.
Unfortunately your actions have had reprocutions on ppl with a trading RP, cutting down our access to even more systems. to me this seems totally selfish of those persistent offenders to continue with thier behaviour and let the rest of us pay the price.
it became more difficult to trade in 1.7 due to the dynamic uiverse, and now even harder, with many trade routes terminating or starting in NY.

if you are banning trade in ny to those over lvl 60, then can you ban piracy in X3043? or ban military movements in NL? how about banning policing from Magellan? just a thought on fairness! i know that affects us all in varrying degrees. its mainly a restriction on those with trading RP. All to cut down on the ppl who hide there?

well, well, well, the shits already started with the pirates in ny. GIGANTULA trying to tax torch925, a lvl 18 player, 10mil at westpoint!!, pirates camping in ny to latch on to passing trade! instead of ambushing in line with thier rp. at this rate everyone will turn police or military just to KoS them all with reason!

well privateer that just sums up your opinion on ppl using storage chars doesnt it. wheres yours? oh, let me guess, deadalus by any chance? along with the rest of LP's storage chars no doubt. that is a shit attitude to take m8, coming from a server clan member who has a safe place to "camp" his chars. FL's need to keep stores somewhere, it just so happens to be in the most central system in CF, and coincidentally the same place the COWARDS run to! *still not pointing my finger at anyone*. hmmm, maybe i should start naming and shaming? i feel a new thread coming along!

ANY Freelancer who wishes to have a safe place to "camp" thier stores contact me asap, i will charge 2 mil per week/per char for safe storage in neophobos.

LP, your behaviour was IMO disgraceful to exploit this "new law/rule" at the earliest opportunity while everyone was trying to sort through the confusion. As Ghost is away for a month he has asked me to carry on the running of the twilight event on a wednesday. due to unforeseen circumstances i was unable to hold it today. but i will be running the event on friday instead, at 9.00 GMT.
There will be no cash prize to the winner this week, instead i thought of giving my last 4 DKA's as winning prize. if you guys approve then let me know asap. if preffered i will still offer money as first prize.
