  • Crossfire mod problem

    i would suggest a clean install, deleting all saved game data and screenshots. search your pc for any files containing freelancer/crossfire files and delete. fresh download of FLMM 1.31 and Crossfire, and reinstall. deactivate 3D sound in options before playing online.

    there is no reason to call for those specific ships to be banned, if so you would have to ban all ships that are specific to crossfire.


    most ppl use a shroud and that is bugged, so why call for certain models to be banned? i certainly have no reason to think that i or anyone else who owns a predator has any advantages over anyone in a shroud. the reliant has proved to have a serious enough flaw to be excluded from pvp use, as has the karak. note the words serious enough flaw.


    as this has been decided in the past, to prove the pilots have an unfair advantage in using these ships, actions were taken.


    the main reason UAC rent Neophobos is because the Predator is sold there and it was a business decision, take that away and UAC have no reason to be there.


    and as for ordnance usage nothing has been banned. OP increased to prices in order to discourage high usage and spammers. if they are for sale you can use them. undoubtedly the high use of ordnance may increase the lag, but a majority of the time it is still ppl running other programs while playing online, thats just ignorance at work.


    one of the major increase in lag while in pvp/battle is when the npc's get involved when someone goes red from a stray shot, we have all experienced this and it affects us all to the same degree. any bugs that are present in any ships or ordnance will be exagerated in this situation, at which point i would say its acceptable to F1 out so the npc's disengage, for the sake of others present.

    the server was intentionally corrupted by some asshole who didnt accept that this community doesnt like to be insulted! hence this is his retribution. the new server will be online just as quick as OP cant organise it. its not just the game, the SWAT portal has sufferred too m8. as soon as the new server is up an running it will be posted here on the forum. so just keep watching ;)

    if you have nothing good to say then its best not to say it really. at the end it wont be construed as constructive criticism, only public destructiveness over something you have no CONTROL over. after all it would have been alot more polite to actually p.m. OP and express your concerns rather that a public berating of the mod and its community on its' forums.

    wether ppl like it or not an SP's job can be a difficult one and its never ending. it can take away an element of enjoyment from the game. we do it becuase its for the good of the server and the ppl who play there. Gunny, imo, has NEVER made a bad judgement call, and he has my respect. respect being earned and not expected. so the ppl who are publicly "bashing" him had best be very careful. i wont have the Head of Server Police critisised for a job he does by someone who has no understanding of what/why he does it.


    So peeps, keep your unfounded opinions to yourself, if there is a problem then TALK to him about it. instead of acting like 5 year olds in a playground screaming at the top of your voice coz someone stole your lolli pop!!! :P [3] [6]

    MN are a police roleplay clan, in the ASF.
    TRF are a pirate roleplay clan, in the CSF.


    ASF/CSF RP takes precidence over any other RP.


    police kill pirates, pirates kill police. what are you guys thinking?!!


    if i see you guys ignoring each other in ASF/CSF territory i will kill you all!!

    no wonder ppl complain about the roleplay, this is all screwed up!!


    MN and TRF sort it out for gods sake and scrap this, before you are forced too^^.


    this is a roleplay & pro-pvp server, not a damn chat room for ppl to meet and be all friendly, or what ever they are there for^^.

    not sure thats correct about nomads. i once had a nomad tag appear around my saracen i.e your tag may appear as Navy-{UAC}Dop..., my one was Nomad-{UAC}Dop...!! gunny witnessed this in arena and was very suprised. prolly down to the fact that i was killing any npc that moved!! :D
