My definitions of LF/HF/VHF/Freighter/Bomber by the numbers of guns/turrets
LF: <5 guns/turrets (total)
HF: 5 guns + turret / 6 guns
VHF: 6 guns, optional turrets, > class 9
Freighter: >4 turrets, <4 guns
Bomber: >3 torp mounts/launchers

I'd classify Haidar as VHF because of weapon layout and shield class (10), however it is best used as an armored freighter.

Every day brings different trading routes. Land on as many bases as possible so you can find a good one every day. Also, try keeping one unit of every commodity in your cargo for quick looking up. (in single player)

same happens to repair ship. the more nanobots and batteries you have on board, the harder it is to dock

I assume you mean Battleship Torpedo? Coalition torpedos are for bombers.

I used to get banned suddenly when hunting alien cruisers (all kinds) with (IOC)Osiris. (cloak installed during CF1.9) I would get banned halfway a fight, because my guns would suddenly no longer damage them. Getting cloak banned never involved pvp or dying for me. However, on every occasion it was after the cooldown timer had ended (10 minutes in system, then ban)

If you are not sure which one to get: Osiris is always a safe option. Good front profile, small size, perfect for navigating asteroid fields, and turret coverage in all directions. I love it for use in inner core to hunt aliens (fighters and caps)

ps. in inner core it is recommended to have someone with a repair ship around, repairing a battleship/dreadnought at a repair buoy takes hours

closing the launcher first should also close Freelancer.exe, or at least unlock it so task manager can kill it
whenever I close Freelancer, I close launcher as well, works for me
